Publication number: 20160274963Abstract: According to one embodiment, an equipment evaluation system includes: an estimator, an acquirer, a hardware storage and an evaluator. The estimator is implemented by the computer, to estimate a probability density distribution of a parameter representing performance of subject equipment based on measurement data of the subject equipment, the measurement data resulting from a measurement performed at each of a plurality of times. The acquirer acquires a use pattern of the subject equipment. The hardware storage stores the use pattern in association with the probability density distribution for the subject equipment. The evaluator identifies a use pattern of the subject equipment, the use pattern being similar to a use pattern of a first equipment that is different from the subject equipment, and evaluates future performance degradation of the first equipment using probability density distributions corresponding to the identified use pattern.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 11, 2016Publication date: September 22, 2016Inventors: Hideyuki AISU, Toshimitsu KUMAZAWA, Mitsunobu YOSHIDA, Mikito IWAMASA -
Publication number: 20160197474Abstract: A power demand and supply control apparatus includes a target value acquiring unit, an information collecting unit, an adjustment amount determining unit, and a communication unit. The acquiring unit acquires a target value of a total adjustment amount. The collecting unit collects information of registered power amount of each of the requesting targets. The determining unit determines an adjustment amount for each of the requesting targets based on the registered power amount of each of the requesting targets and the target value of the total adjustment amount. The communication unit notifies each of the requesting targets of the adjustment amount determined. The information of the registered power amount includes information of an executable time and date. The determining unit extracts a requesting target that has the executable time and date included in the power adjustment execution time and date, and determines the adjustment amount.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 14, 2016Publication date: July 7, 2016Applicant: KABUSHIKI KAISHA TOSHIBAInventors: Hideyuki AISU, Tomoshi OTSUKl

Publication number: 20150268072Abstract: In one embodiment, a sensor assignment apparatus includes a measured value storage, a generator, a calculator, and a selector. The measured value storage stores measured values of a plurality of sensors. The generator generates combinations of sensors and arguments of a function to diagnose sensors by assigning sensors to its arguments. The calculator calculates evaluation values which are based on the function values. The function values are obtained by applying diagnostic functions to measured values for all combinations generated by the generator. The selector selects at least one combination from the resulting set of the generator by considering the evaluation values of combinations calculated by the calculator.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 17, 2015Publication date: September 24, 2015Applicant: KABUSHIKI KAISHA TOSHIBAInventors: Kenichi FUJIWARA, Hideyuki AISU, Hisaaki Hatano

Publication number: 20150269293Abstract: In one embodiment, a diagnosis model generating apparatus includes a physical parameter calculator, a first residual calculator, a physical model determiner, a second residual calculator, a searcher, and a generator. The physical parameter calculator calculates a parameter value of a parameter having an undetermined value of a first physical model. The first physical model represents a relationship between the variables. The first residual calculator calculates a first residual of the first physical model. The physical model determiner determines whether to adopt the first physical model. The second residual calculator calculates a second residual of the first physical model that has not been adopted by the physical model determiner. The searcher searches for a measured value correlated with the second residual from among measured values not assigned to the variables. The generator generates a second physical model. The second physical model represents a relationship between the variables.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 16, 2015Publication date: September 24, 2015Applicant: KABUSHIKI KAISHA TOSHIBAInventors: Hisaaki HATANO, Hideyuki AISU, Kenichi FUJIWARA

Publication number: 20150269195Abstract: In one embodiment, a model updating apparatus includes a determiner, a selector, an obtainer, an updater. The determiner determines labels to be provided to each of data sets, using two or more models. Each of the data sets include at least one measured value measured by a sensor and a measurement target area of the sensor. The models are functions of the measured values. The selector selects a check target data set from the data sets, based on two or more labels determined by using the two or more models, respectively. The obtainer obtains a label provided by a user to the check target data set selected by the selector. The updater updates the models based on the check target data set and the label obtained by the obtainer.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 17, 2015Publication date: September 24, 2015Applicant: KABUSHIKI KAISHA TOSHIBAInventor: Hideyuki AISU
