  • Publication number: 20230365037
Abstract: A hot-melt magnetic tape for a foam molded body, the tape having a magnetic layer formed from a hot-melt magnetic material, where the hot-melt magnetic material has a ring and ball softening point of 105° C. or more and 140° C. or less, and the hot-melt magnetic material includes: a thermoplastic resin containing an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (A); and a magnetic powder (C), and, optionally, further includes a wax (B), where 20 to 80% by mass of the component (A), 0 to 8% by mass of the component (B), and 15 to 80% by mass of the component (C) are contained in 100% by mass in total of the component (A), component (B), and component (C), and a structural unit derived from a vinyl acetate monomer for the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (A) accounts for 15 to 30% by mass.

  • Patent number: 8080704
Abstract: A wetness indicator composition contains (a) 0.1% to 5% by weight of a pH indicator that is substantially colorless at pH 7 and develops a color in an acidic environment, (b) 20% to 90% by weight of a surfactant, (c) 5% to 55% by weight of a polyalkylene glycol, (d) 0% to 70% by weight of a polymer having a carboxyl group, and (e) 0.1% to 5% by weight of an acidic substance other than components (b) and (d). In an absorbent article including a topsheet 2, a backsheet 3, and an absorbent member 4 interposed between the topsheet 2 and the backsheet 3 and having applied thereon a hot-melt composition that changes color on contact with a body fluid, the wetness indicator composition is used as the hot melt composition.

  • Publication number: 20100038365
Abstract: A hot-melt composition comprising a thermoplastic elastomer, a tackifier, a wax and a polyolefin resin, the wax having a softening point (R & B system) of 140 to 160° C. The hot-melt composition can be easily applied to the mouth-neck portion of a metal can and can be excellently produced. Even when placed under a high-temperature condition, the sealing material that is formed exhibits excellent heat resistance maintaining the sealing.

  • Patent number: 5756356
Abstract: A method of indicating a time or a temperature-time accumulated value as a color change (degree of color development), which comprises providing an oxidation-polymerizable dyestuff and the oxidizing agent in a non-contact state and bringing the oxidation-polymerizable dyestuff and the oxidizing agent into contact with each other to polymerize the oxidation-polymerizable dyestuff with the passage of time, and an indicator material therefor.
