Patent number: 7382079Abstract: There is provided a piezoelectric device for generating an acoustic signal in which an expansion mechanism expands a disposition of a laminated piezoelectric actuator by the principle of leverage. The mass of a base member placed in the expansion mechanism is larger than the mass of a vibration output member. An overall device size is small. The piezoelectric device has a pressurization structure for reducing a tractive force acting on the laminated piezoelectric actuator which is generated by the amplification. This enables provision of a piezoelectric device for generating an acoustic signal that is a small size, highly resistant to dropping impact, and has god acoustic performance with less sound leakage.Type: GrantFiled: August 1, 2006Date of Patent: June 3, 2008Assignee: NEC Tokin CorporationInventors: Hideyuki Kawase, Yuji Nitobe

Publication number: 20070086608Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present invention, a piezoelectric element composing a detecting part of a bone-conduction microphone is cantilevered by being mechanically pressed into an element mounting opening of a supporting member in a microphone case while temporarily bonded to a connecting member including a signal communication spacer, a copper-made spacer, a tapered ground spacer, and an insulating spacer, and optionally reinforced and fixed by use of an adhesive. Hence, it is possible to provide a cantilevered bone-conduction microphone having a vibration detecting part that can be assembled with a simple structure by use of an eco-friendly bonding material, not a solder.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 6, 2006Publication date: April 19, 2007Applicant: NEC TOKIN CORPORATIONInventors: Yoichi Hashimoto, Hideyuki Kawase, Masahiko Fujita, Yuji Nitobe

Patent number: 5014140Abstract: A magnetic recording and/or reproducing apparatus is disclosed, comprising a rotary head device, in which a magnetic tape is drawn out of a cassette and brought into contact with the rotary head device or the like. A tape draw-out device doubling as a tape guide forms a predetermined tape path and guides the drive of the magnetic tape after drawing out the magnetic tape. The apparatus further requires a fixed magnetic head and other tape guide mechanism which are movably arranged on the path of the tape draw-out device during the apparatus operation for reducing the size thereof. With the tape loading operation, the fixed magnetic head and the other tape guide are moved by a common drive mechanism and held in position by a common stopper.Type: GrantFiled: February 14, 1990Date of Patent: May 7, 1991Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Ikuo Nishida, Shinichi Hanawa, Hideyuki Kawase

Patent number: 5006143Abstract: A method of joining a number of articles using a low-melting point glass whereby recesses in the layer of low-melting point glass initially formed before joining reduces the entrapment of bubbles within the glass layer. Preferably, the recesses are formed by protrusions in a mask used to form the coating of low-melting point glass prior to bonding.Type: GrantFiled: October 12, 1990Date of Patent: April 9, 1991Assignee: NGB Spark Plug Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hideyuki Kawase, Noboru Sahashi, Tamotsu Hashizume

Patent number: 4833562Abstract: A rotary magnetic head cylinder device for use in a helical-scanning system video tape recorder has a projection provided on a tape running race of a stationary lower cylinder near a location at which a magnetic tape leaves from the lower cylinder. The projection is preferably integral with the tape running race and has a small area which is defined by a shoulder circumferentially extending identically with a tape guide shoulder contouring the lower edge of the tape running race and which spreads perpendicularly to the tape running race, and an upper surface coplanar with the top face of the lower cylinder, and a height defined by a protruded length radially outwardly toward the outer circumferential surface of the lower cylinder. The projection serves to reduce vibrations of the magnetic tape generated when the video head carried by the rotary upper cylinder leaves from the magnetic tape.Type: GrantFiled: June 3, 1987Date of Patent: May 23, 1989Assignees: Hitachi Ltd., Hitachi Video Engineering, Incorp.Inventors: Masanori Kochi, Juichi Morikawa, Makoto Ibe, Toshio Osada, Hitoshi Takizawa, Hideyuki Kawase, Ikuo Nishida, Eiichi Hanawa, Hitoshi Okabe, Tosio Uno

Patent number: 4589040Abstract: A magnetic head adjusting mechanism operable to adjust the position of magnetic heads with respect to a direction of a run of magnetic recording medium independently of the adjustments of the head gap angle, the heights of the heads and other adjustment items. The mechanism includes a head base plate carrying the magnetic heads and formed with a shaft bore in which is fitted a support shaft mounted on a chassis. The head base plate is resiliently biased about the axis of the support shaft. The rotation of the head base plate about the support shaft is limited by a tapered adjusting member formed by a tapered nut having a conical outer surface in contact with the head base plate and a screw shaft in threadable engagement with the tapered nut.Type: GrantFiled: March 17, 1983Date of Patent: May 13, 1986Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventor: Hideyuki Kawase
