    Abstract: A switching power supply includes: a DC-DC converter including a switching element and configured to output electric power input from an input terminal to an output terminal; a current detector configured to detect a load current output to the output terminal and to output a voltage corresponding to the load current as a detection result; a time constant circuit having a predetermined charging time constant; a time constant circuit controller configured to be connected to the current detector and the time constant circuit and configured to output a charging current based on the detection result to charge the time constant circuit or discharge charge charged in the time constant circuit as a discharging current on based on a comparison between the detection result output by the current detector and a reference voltage.
