  • Publication number: 20190162337
Abstract: Provided herein is a pipe joint of a relatively small joint diameter for use under ultrahigh pressure conditions. The pipe joint includes first and second joint members having mutually communicating fluid passages; and a gasket interposed between abutting end surfaces of the first and second joint members. The first and second joint members have ring-shaped seal projections formed at the abutting end surfaces thereof. The pipe joint satisfies a coefficient F of 0.4 or less in the following formula (1). F=(D32?D12)/(D42?D22), ??Formula (1): where D1 represents the inner diameter of the first and second joint members, D2 represents the inner diameter of the gasket, D3 represents the diameter of the seal projections, and D4 represents the outer diameter of the gasket.

  • Patent number: 8210493
Abstract: A water hammerless valve includes a pneumatically-operated valve having a valve disc for opening and closing a fluid channel by moving upward and downward through a pneumatic actuator operation, and a limiting mechanism for interfering with upward movement of the valve disc when the water hammer occurs. The limiting mechanism includes a stepping motor including a rotation shaft fixed on the upper actuator; a vertical movement component connected to the rotation shaft for moving upward and downward via rotation of the rotation shaft; a lower detecting component for detecting the fact that the vertical movement component contacts the upper end of a stem when the lower detecting component moves downward; and a control device for rotating the stepping motor, for controlling the air supply, and for transmitting a stop signal to the stepping motor when the lower end of the lower detecting component detects the fact.

  • Publication number: 20080157015
Abstract: To provide a handle equipped with a torque limiter capable of preventing application of excessive torque, and a fluid controller provided with the same. An elastic body (7) has a minimum-urging force capable of developing a function desired when the handle is lowered to the lowest position. Disposed in the handle are a transmitting member (8) urged by the elastic body and a transmitted material (10) against which the lower surface of the transmitting material is pressed. The surface of the transmitted material opposed to the transmitting material or the surface of the transmitting material opposed to the transmitted material is formed with serrations along the periphery having inclined surfaces (81, 101) and vertical surfaces (82, 102) which alternately appear. The inclined surfaces of the serrations are upwardly tapered along the direction of rotation in which the cover body descends.
