  • Patent number: 11778697
Abstract: A window glass apparatus includes a heater for heating a part of a windshield which is a particular part of a window glass of a host vehicle, and a control ECU configured to control an amount of the electric power supplied to the heater. The control ECU detects a preceding vehicle and controls the amount of the electric power supplied to the heater in such a manner that the amount of the electric power supplied to the heater is reduced as compared with a case where the preceding vehicle is not detected, using information on the detected preceding vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10744957
Abstract: A photographing apparatus for vehicle includes a photographing apparatus, heating means, an outside air temperature detector, and a control device. The photographing apparatus is disposed inside a vehicle so as to face a window of the vehicle and is configured to receive photographing light passing through the window. The heating means is disposed inside the vehicle so as to face the window and generates heat when receiving electricity. The outside air temperature detector detects outside air temperature which is air temperature outside of the vehicle. The control device calculates an amount corresponding to a target value of electric energy to be supplied to the heating means for a predetermined period of time based on the outside air temperature detected by the outside air temperature detector and temperature of the photographing apparatus, the control device supplying electric energy corresponding to the target value to the heating means.

  • Publication number: 20200163167
Abstract: A heating apparatus of a window glass of a vehicle comprises a heater which generates heat for melting ice adhering to an imaging glass part including a whole part of a corresponding part within a window glass which corresponds to an imaging range of an onboard camera. The heater heats the imaging glass part in such a manner that an amount of heat per unit area applied to a specific part of the imaging glass part on an upstream side in a liquid flowing direction which is a direction in which the liquid flows on a side surface outside a vehicle cabin of the imaging glass part becomes larger than an amount of heat per unit area applied to a part of the imaging glass part on an downstream side with respect to the specific part in the liquid flowing direction.

  • Patent number: 7980618
Abstract: A center seat provided rightward in a left seat is detached from a center seat retention base when a seatback is caused to fold so that the thickness direction of the seatback coincides with the thickness direction of a seating cushion. Then, the folded center seat is caused to move on a floor forward in the vehicle, and is housed into a center seat-housing portion in a console box.

  • Patent number: 7819419
Abstract: An occupant protection device includes an airbag 10 that is inflated with gas from an inflator 20 at a side of an occupant B to protect the body of the occupant B from the shoulder Ba to the lumbar Bd, the airbag 10 having substantially the same vertical dimension as that of a seat back Aa. In this occupant protection device, uninflatable sections 12 and 13 are formed in a vertical center portion 10c of the airbag 10, that is, at a position corresponding to the chest Bb and the abdomen Bc of the occupant B. Accordingly, a region which is thinner than an upper portion 10a and a lower portion 10b of the airbag 10 in a vehicle width direction when the airbag 10 is inflated and that extends substantially parallel to the seat back Aa is formed substantially at the center of the airbag 10.
