Abstract: According to one embodiment, a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes an imaging condition setting unit and an imaging unit. The imaging condition setting unit is configured to set slice positions same as past slice positions to a same object and to set a table position of a bed with the object set to position a position representing a slice position designated out of the slice positions or a position representing a slice range designated out of the slice positions on a center of a magnetic field. The imaging unit is configured to acquire magnetic resonance data from the slice positions set for the object at the table position of the bed to generate image data corresponding to the slice positions based on the acquired magnetic resonance data.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a medical image diagnostic apparatus includes a display and processing circuitry. The display displays a relationship diagram indicating a relationship between values which are respectively set for imaging parameters relating to an imaging condition of medical imaging. The processing circuitry updates the relationship diagram in accordance with a moving operation of a point corresponding to each of the values on the relationship diagram, or a change operation of the imaging condition. The processing circuitry changes the imaging condition before the moving operation or the change operation to an imaging condition which reflects the moving operation or the change operation.

Abstract: A diagnostic imaging system includes a scanner, a plurality of computers, and a control unit. The scanner scans a subject to obtain data. The control unit switches between a multiprocessing mode and a parallel processing mode, the multiprocessing mode allowing the same process in any of a medical-image forming process based on the data obtained and the subsequent processes to be executed by two or more computers of the plurality of computers, and the parallel processing mode allowing a plurality of different processes in the medical-image forming process and the subsequent processes to be executed concurrently by two or more computers of the plurality of computers.
