  • Patent number: 4992944
Abstract: An electrically-operated power steering control system is disclosed for an electrically-operated power steering apparatus in which a motor is controlled in accordance with a predetermined function of the steering power applied to a steering wheel and an auxiliary steering power is supplied by this motor. The motor is controlled on the basis of a conduction ratio which is modified depending on a comparison between a change of a detected torque signal of a torque sensor and the rate of change of the steering angle.

  • Patent number: 4753308
Abstract: An electro-motive power steering system includes a torque sensor for detecting a steering force exerted to a steering wheel, a motor controlled in accordance with the output of the torque sensor, a steering angle sensor for detecting a steering angle, acceleration/deceleration deciding circuit for deciding based on the outputs of the torque sensor and the steering angle sensor whether the steering of the steering wheel is accelerated or decelerated, and a function generator for generating a function of either one of acceleration or deceleration in accordance with the result of the decision by the acceleration/deceleration deciding circuit, wherein a steering assisting force corresponding to the acceleration or deceleration of the steering of the steering wheel is applied to the steering wheel.

  • Patent number: 4708440
Abstract: In a segment display type multi-color liquid crystal display device, the area of the display surface of the display device except the areas of segment electrodes is formed so as to present a color identical or similar to a color presented by the segment electrodes in an unselected state. Selected segments can be clearly recognized.

  • Patent number: 4521813
Abstract: A line by image signal in a facsimile transmission is transmitted at a random time interval. A minimum time interval (highest record speed) is determined by a transmission ability of a transmission line. A paper feed drive motor requires a considerable time to accelerate from a stop state to the highest record speed. The image signal transmitted during the acceleration time is stored in a memory to prevent an error in the recording and the paper feed drive motor is controlled by a speed pattern determined by the number of lines stored in the memory. Thus, a response ability of the drive motor is compensated and a high response is attained. The memory needs only a capacity sufficient to store the data before the highest record speed is reached.
