  • Patent number: 5150655
Abstract: A horizontally-flexible rail which comprises rail pieces and connecting plates connecting the rail pieces together, the rail pieces being in contact with each other, each connecting plate being fixed to one of adjacent rail pieces, and pivotally connected to the other rail piece, the rail pieces, together with the connecting plates fixed thereto, being capable of horizontal arcing motion relative to adjacent rail pieces, the connecting plates serving to limit the arcing motions to a relatively small range.

  • Patent number: 5117447
Abstract: An image input apparatus including a camera tube having a photoconductive layer onto which an optical image is to be projected, a cathode for emitting an electron beam for scanning the photoconductive layer, a control electrode for controlling a beam current of the electron beam emitted from the cathode in accordance with a control voltage, and a mesh electrode having a frame, the apparatus further including a deflecting circuit for periodically deflecting the electron beam to scan the photoconductive layer. The deflecting circuit periodically deflects the electron beam to scan an area outside a restricted scanning area determined by the frame of the mesh electrode.

  • Patent number: 5101734
Abstract: A flexible rail comprises rail pieces arranged in line, laterally opposed side plates, and laterally opposed connecting plates. Each rail piece includes a generally I-shaped member and a shelter member which is fixed to a top of the I-shaped member. The opposed side plates are fixed to respective side walls of the shelter member. The side plate overlaps one side of the rail piece. The connecting plate is fixed to a rear one of adjacent side plates, and is connected to the front side plate for pivotal movement. Thus, the rail piece, the side plates fixed thereto, and the connecting plates fixed to the side plates, as one body, are capable of pivotal movement.

  • Patent number: 5043052
Abstract: A flexible rail according to one preferred embodiment of the invention comprises (a) hollow rail pieces each having a generally inverted U-shaped vertical cross section, opposed open ends, a pair of laterally opposed bottom portions for supporting rollers of a roller chain, and a bottom space located between the opposed bottom portions from which hangers may be hung from the roller chain, (b) a pair of laterally opposed side plates fixed to the respective side walls of each rail piece such that the side plates overlap the side walls, (c) a pair of laterally opposed connecting plates each associated with adjacent side plates on one of opposed sides, each of the connecting plates overlapping both of the adjacent side plates, but being fixed to only a rear one thereof, and (d) a pair of pivotal means provided in conjunction with the opposed side plates, respectively, and each connecting a front one of adjacent side plates on one of the opposed sides and a connecting plate on the same side for pivotal movements a

  • Patent number: 4812211
Abstract: A relatively great number of materials such as forged or cast motor parts of relatively small sizes are loaded into a basket. The basket is suspended from a front conveyor, and is conveyed thereby to a position in front of a coating section comprising a plurality of tanks arranged in a required order and containing liquids required for the coating. After reaching the foregoing position, the basket is carried by, or suspended from, a basket carrier and is immersed in the liquids in the tanks in the order of arrangement thereof. The basket is swung in each tank several times. After being immersed in the liquids in all tanks, the basket is conveyed, by a rear conveyor, to a furnace for baking the materials coated. The basket is passed through the furnace, and then is suspended again from the front conveyor and conveyed thereby to a section where the basket is overturned to unload the materials coated and baked. Then, the basket, which is now empty, is conveyed to the initial position.

  • Patent number: 4354138
Abstract: A television camera tube with electrostatic focusing and magnetic deflection comprises in an cylindrical envelope a beam current control, a main lens section and a sixth grid in the form of a mesh electrode. The beam current control section includes a cathode, a first grid and a second grid with an electron beam limiting diaphragm in this order. The main lens section includes third, fourth and fifth grids in the form of cylindrical electrodes disposed in this order. Around the cylindrical envelope is mounted a magnetic deflection coil whose length along the envelope axis is 0.18 to 0.40 times the distance from the beam limiting diaphragm to the mesh electrode.

  • Patent number: 4264920
Abstract: An integrated pickup component used to support and mount thereto image pickup tubes is mounted to a color separation optical system of a multi-tube type color television camera. The integrated pickup component comprises a plurality of primary assembly retaining cylinders each housing an image pickup tube and its peripheral parts which are to be fixed to the cylinder with an adhesive in a ready-to-use manner, and a mount holder integrally formed in itself for attaching thereto the primary assembly retaining cylinders of respective image pickup tubes. Before connecting and fixing this integrated pickup component to the color separation optical system of the color television camera, the component is attached to an adjusting arrangement having an optical system with identical functions to those of the color separation optical system for the camera.

  • Patent number: 4169239
Abstract: The electron lens of an electrostatically focusing type image pickup tube comprises three coaxially arranged cylindrical electrodes and the inner diameters thereof are decreased from the side of a target toward an electron gun. The electron lens is assembled by successively fitting the three electrodes over a mandrel, the outer diameter thereof varying stepwisely in accordance with the inner diameters of the three electrodes, and then interconnecting the three electrodes by axially extending insulating supporting rods.
