  • Publication number: 20160129470
Abstract: In a coating apparatus, which coats an object to be coated with a viscous coating material while causing a moving part to move a flat nozzle that discharges the coating material, the nozzle includes a cylinder that applies predetermined pressing force F to the nozzle towards the object to be coated. The cylinder forms a gap (G) between the object to be coated and the nozzle by moving the nozzle in a direction away from the object to be coated to a position where discharge reaction force (R) is balanced with pressing force (F). The discharge reaction force (R) is generated when the nozzle discharges the coating material to the object to be coated.

  • Patent number: 5865669
Abstract: An apparatus for abrasive machining of a predetermined portion of a workpiece such that an abrasive tape and the workpiece are moved relative to each other while the tape is held in pressing contact with the predetermined portion of the workpiece, and such that the abrasive tape is fed in the longitudinal direction, the apparatus including a tape holding portion, and a tape cartridge removably held by the tape holding portion and carrying the abrasive tape, wherein the cartridge includes a housing, a tape supply portion disposed in the housing and accommodating an unused length of the tape such that a portion of the unused length is exposed outside the housing, a pressing member attached to the housing, for pressing the portion of the unused length outside the housing onto the predetermined portion of said workpiece, and a take-up portion disposed in the housing and accommodating a used length of the tape which has been used for abrasive machining of the predetermined portion of the workpiece in pressing cont

  • Patent number: 5161338
Abstract: A laminated rubber support assembly which earthquake-proofs buildings. It comprises a plurality of rigid plates arranged to alternate with rubber-like elastic plates and adapted to support a heavy object in such a manner as to allow the object to swing horizontally. This laminated rubber support assembly is characterized in that at least the peripheral region of each rubber-like elastic plate interposed between rigid plates is not bonded to the rigid plates.
