Abstract: To provide an acrylic silicone graft copolymer capable of effectively exerting a function in a composition for external application containing various oily components such as a natural oil, a hydrocarbon oil, ester oil and a silicone oil, and a composition for external application containing the acrylic silicone graft copolymer. A composition for external application including an acrylic silicone graft copolymer, which contains 2 to 25 mass % of a constitutional unit represented by formula (I), 55 to 85 mass % of a constitutional unit represented by formula (II) and 2 to 20 mass % of a constitutional unit represented by formula (III). wherein R1 is an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R2 is an alkylene group having 2 to 10 carbon atoms; and n is an integer of 1 to 100.

A lip cosmetic composition having an inner phase and an outer phase, wherein the inner phase includes: A) a low-viscosity oil agent that does not dissolve a solidifier, and the outer phase includes: B) the solidifier; C) a high-viscosity oil agent that dissolves the solidifier; D) a binder oil that dissolves the low-viscosity oil agent as component A at 90° C. but not at 25° C.; and E) a coloring material, and the total amount of components A, B, C, D and E contained in the lip cosmetic composition is 80 mass % or more.

Abstract: The present application provides a composite particle having a good feeling upon application and capable of effectively preventing make-up smudges by selectively adsorbing sebum, particularly, free fatty acid, and moreover, having a toning effect on the skin texture, and a cosmetic composition containing the composite particle. The composite particle of the present invention comprises a resin particle coated on its surface with amorphous calcium phosphate and calcium carbonate, which resin particle contains a polymer of a vinyl monomer and any one of a phosphorous acid diester component having a certain configuration and a partially esterified phosphoric acid component having a certain configuration.

Abstract: A cosmetic composition includes a boron nitride complex powder in which particles of metal oxide are attached to at least a part of the surface of a base material consisting of boron nitride. The metal oxide is preferably a combination of titanium dioxide, yellow iron oxide, red iron oxide and black iron oxide. Preferred compositions include liquid or powder foundation, lipstick, eye shadow, eye liner and mascara. The cosmetic composition including a cosmetic powder is capable of imparting smoothness to the touch, lively finish with fine texture and natural glow, and adhesion to the skin when applied to the skin.
