    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method performed by a UE, for using subframes of a radio access network for a D2D communication. The subframes available for D2D communication exclude a number of subframes of the radio access network, such that a periodicity of the D2D communication in number of subframes divides the number of subframes available for D2D communication. The method also comprises using the determined subframes for enabling D2D communication.

    Abstract: A transmitting UE schedules radio frequency resources for use in a data transmission. The transmitting UE determines the transmission bandwidth, subject to certain restrictions, such as allowed DFT sizes for the UE for a data transmission. The determination may be performed through autonomous resource selection operations and/or may be performed using information received through signaling received from the network node as part of a scheduling grant. The UE further determines the ALLOCATED BANDWIDTH. The ALLOCATED BANDWIDTH can be determined based on the TRANSMISSION BANDWIDTH, which has been determined, using a defined rule. Furthermore, the UE generates and transmits toward a receiving UE a scheduling assignment (SA) that indicates the number or the set of subchannels that are within, and conform to, the ALLOCATED BANDWIDTH which was determined. The UE can then perform the data transmission using the SA indicated number or set of subchannels.

The method may also include scheduling a second transmission from the UE, wherein the second transmission has a second priority, wherein the first priority is greater than the second priority, and wherein the first and second transmissions are scheduled for transmission during a time interval. The method may further include transmitting the first transmission during the time interval, and responsive to determining a violation of a timing limit corresponding to scheduling the first and second transmissions during the time interval and responsive to the first priority being greater than the second priority, dropping transmitting the second transmission during the time interval.
