  • Patent number: 9607104
Abstract: A method includes receiving, at a computing device comprising a processor, a request to determine bicliques in a graph, where the graph includes a first set of nodes, a second set of nodes, and a set of edges, each edge in the set of edges connecting a node in the first set of nodes to a node in the second set of nodes. The method also includes determining at least one biclique based on querying a bitmap index representing the graph, where the bitmap index includes a plurality of bit strings corresponding to the first set of nodes, and where a value stored in a particular location in each bit string indicates whether an edge connects a first node corresponding to the bit string to a second node corresponding to the particular location.

  • Publication number: 20160350775
Abstract: Systems and methods of generating and using a bitmap index are disclosed. The bitmap index stores bit strings. In a particular implementation, each bit string in the bitmap index corresponds to an attribute of an audience. Each location in each bit string corresponds to the same audience member. The bitmap index supports parallelized and distributed execution of queries with respect to data indexed by the bitmap index. For example, the described bitmap index can be used to index advertising data, healthcare data, financial data, etc.

  • Patent number: 9489410
Abstract: A method includes receiving a query directed to a bitmap index. The bitmap index includes a plurality of bit strings, where a value stored in a particular location in each of the bit strings indicates whether a corresponding signal associated with a signal source has been received, and where the bitmap index includes at least a first metadata value associated with each of the bit strings, at least a second metadata value associated with each of a plurality of signal sources, or both. The method also includes generating a query execution plan for the query and generating query results based on the query execution plan. The query results identify at least one signal associated with at least one bit string of the plurality of bit strings, at least one signal source of the plurality of signal sources, and at least one of the first metadata value or the second metadata value.

  • Publication number: 20160034966
Abstract: A method includes receiving an input identifying a target audience segment (e.g., reflecting a behavior, perspective, or opinion an advertiser would like to influence/increase). The method further includes identifying a first attribute measured by a measurement system, where the first attribute is determined to correlate to users tracked by the measurement system and that belong to the target audience segment, which reflects the behavior that the advertiser wants to influence/increase. The method further includes identifying a second attribute that corresponds to the first attribute, where a messaging action directed to the first attribute, the second attribute, or a combination thereof is available at one or more digital networks. The digital networks may require payment for message delivery or may allow such messaging for free. The method further includes initiating the messaging action aimed at driving behavior directed to the first attribute, the second attribute, or a combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20150235259
Abstract: Systems and methods of measurement and modification of advertisements and content are described. In one example, a measurement system receives measurement data from a client device. The measurement data identifies an event associated with an advertisement or a content item presented by the client device. The measurement system determines performance data associated with the advertisement or the content item based at least in part on the received measurement data. The measurement system also sends the performance data to at least one of a server or the client device to cause at least one action related to the advertisement or the content item.

  • Publication number: 20150088635
Abstract: Systems and methods of measurement and modification of advertisements and content are described. In one example, advertisements/content items (or web servers or applications that present the advertisements/content items) send signals to a measurement server in response to certain events or actions. The signals identify the advertisement/content item and the user that caused the event or performed the action. The measurement server aggregates received signals from different advertisements/content items to determine metrics such as digital brand lift (e.g., a change in brand awareness due to an advertisement/advertising campaign). The measurement server can send computed information back to an advertisement/content item, so that the advertisement/content item (or web server/application) can self-modify and/or deploy additional advertisements/content items.

  • Publication number: 20140075018
Abstract: A particular method includes receiving, at a computing device including a processor, a first event signal that includes a first browser identifier and first information indicative of a first interaction with respect to a media property. The method also includes determining that the first browser identifier corresponds to a particular user and associating the first event signal with a user profile of the particular user. The method further includes receiving a second event signal that includes a second browser identifier that is different from the first browser identifier and second information indicative of a second interaction with respect to the media property. The method includes determining that the second browser identifier corresponds to the particular user and associating the second event signal with the user profile.
