Abstract: An insurance claim payment reviewing system includes a determination unit that receives a claim on an insurance benefit from insurance with respect to an incident, and approves the claim when a predicted probability of occurrence of the incident is lower than or equal to a predetermined value. Referring to a record of maintenance work performed on an object covered by the insurance, the determination unit may reject the claim when predetermined maintenance work has not been performed on the object covered by the insurance. The insurance claim payment reviewing system may further include a detection unit that detects the occurrence of the incident with reference to the record of maintenance work performed on the object covered by the insurance.

Abstract: A method for producing a coating film, including forming a coating film containing a deposit containing fibers on a surface of an object for forming a coating thereon by an electrostatic spray of a composition. The composition includes component (a) a polymer having a coating film forming ability, (b) one or more volatile substances selected from the group consisting of water, an alcohol and a ketone, and (c) an oil component being liquid at 25° C. and containing a component (c1) one or more selected from the group consisting of oil components having a surface tension at 25° C. of 25 mN/m or less and being liquid at 25° C.

Abstract: Provided is a laser processing device that enables a film to be stabilized and processed. The present invention comprises: a conveyance mechanism that conveys a film; a holding mechanism that has a pair of holding parts which can at least sandwich and hold lateral portions of the processing range of the film; and a laser mechanism for processing the processing range of the film held by the holding mechanism.

Abstract: An exhaust gas cleaning device of an internal combustion engine wherein a secondary-air supply passage is connected to an exhaust system of the engine and a reed valve means is provided in the intermediate part of the secondary-air supply passage for opening in response to the pulsation pressure of the exhaust gas in the exhaust system to supply secondary air for cleaning exhaust gas to an exhaust passage and burn the unburnt components present in the exhaust passage thereby to clean exhaust gas. A desired amount of secondary air is supplied to each of a plurality of exhaust systems so that the exhaust gas cleaning efficiency as well as the reliability and durability of the reed valve means are improved and moreover a good external appearance is obtained.
