  • Patent number: 4551583
Abstract: A control signal transmission system for a key telephone system, in which control signal information is transmitted in a parallel signal configuration between a plurality of key telephone sets and a key service unit by the use of transmission lines one-to-one corresponding to the individual key telephone sets, and in which the information between the key telephone sets is transmitted using a serial signal format of a frame configuration so that time slots of respective frames are synchronized with respect to all of the transmission lines.

  • Patent number: 4353066
Abstract: A channel switching network, in which each cross-point of a switch matrix is constituted as a channel switch of balanced type using two PNPN semiconductor elements. Each of the two PNPN semiconductor elements is arranged in a forward direction with respect to a direct current flowing from the channel switching network to a corresponding terminal equipment. A column of cross-points and a line of cross-points in the switch matrix are designated to select a simultaneously designated cross-point in response to a pair of selection signals. A control circuit is provided for each pair of the incoming lines and the outgoing lines of the switch matrix so that the terminal voltage of a power source for flowing the direct current in the PNPN elements is controlled to temporarily rise to turn ON the PNPN elements at the selected cross-point and thereafter to drop to such a value as only to maintain the PNPN elements in the ON states.

  • Patent number: 4280022
Abstract: A key telephone system adapted to selectively connect a plurality of key telephone sets to a plurality of CO lines through a key service unit and pluralities of talking lines and control lines and provided with a calling device in at least one of the key telephone sets, in which automatic holding of the CO line is enabled upon depression of a calling key. In case of transferring the incoming call from a receiving key telephone set to a called one of the other key telephone set, depression of the individual calling switch automatically starts calling of the called key telephone set and enables the called party to recognize the incoming call by means of lamp indication and answer the calling CO line. The number of cable conductors interconnecting the key service unit and the key telephone sets is effectively reduced.

  • Patent number: 4234765
Abstract: A key telephone system, in which a plurality of key telephone sets are selectively connected to a plurality of CO lines by the use of a plurality of talking lines under control of a key service unit and a plurality of control lines. In order to seize a CO line, a CO line seizure signal from one of key telephone sets is time-divisionally transmitted at a low speed and received by a speed change memory of the key service unit. A high-speed output from the speed change memory is added with dial or hook information and then space-divided for seizing a desired one of the CO lines. A talking operation, a holding operation, a privacy operation and a synchronizing operation in this system are performed on the base of the above operation principle.

  • Patent number: 4092501
Abstract: A key telephone system, in which at least one CO line, at least one intercomm. line and control lines are arranged between a key service unit and a plurality of key telephone sets. The key service unit is provided with a scanning circuit for generating multiplexed code units indicating the connection state of each channel of said CO line and said intercomm. line in a time-division manner to scan the key telephone sets. The key service unit further includes means for transmitting the code unit to each key telephone set through said control lines. Each of the key telephone sets includes a decoder for decoding the code units thus transmitted to obtain individual indication signals indicating the states of each channel.

  • Patent number: 4027110
Abstract: A telephone set scanning type key telephone system, in which a plurality of key telephone sets are connected in parallel, to a key service unit through control lines composed of a display information line, key information line, a terminal selecting line and a clock line. Each key telephone set comprises a display memory, a key memory, a terminal coincidence circuit and a gate. The terminal coincidence circuit collates a selecting code transmitted thereto from the key service unit through the terminal selecting line and applies clock pulses transmitted thereto from the key service unit through the clock line to the gate to drive the display memory and the key memory only when the selecting code is coincident with the terminal number.

  • Patent number: 4011415
Abstract: A first and a second power source have a predetermined potential difference at their outputs and supply direct currents to a station call line and a direct station selection call line respectively. A non-linear element is inserted between a point at which the station call line and the direct station selection call line are connected to each other and the first power source. When the direct station selection call is established, the non-linear element is turned off due to the potential difference between the first and the second power sources so that the direct station selection call is given priority over the station call.
