Abstract: A structure for securing a cup support element in a seat cushion of automotive seat, the cup support element being of the type comprising a body portion and a slide support member slidably inserted in the body portion for supportively receiving drinking cups or the like. A protection plate having securing pieces of a rigid yet elastic property is provided in such structure, and the cup support element is connected via the protection plate with a known wire frame assembly provided in the seat cushion, such that the securing pieces of the protection plate are connected with the known wire frame assembly, thereby allowing those particular securing pieces to be bendable by a downward load applied to the seat cushion and thus protecting the cup support element as well as the protection plate itself against deformation.

Abstract: An arrangement of a seat belt anchor in an automotive seat, wherein a base bracket is provided at a lateral wall of a seat cushion of the seat, a cover member is securely attached over the base bracket in a generally closed way, an opening or recessed portion is formed in the cover member, and a lid member is fitted to the opening or recessed portionA seat belt connected with the seat belt anchor passes through the lid member or between the lid member and recessed portion, extending outwardly therefrom. The seat belt anchor is disposed between the base bracket and cover member or between the recessed portion and lid member.Accordingly, this arrangement improves outer aesthetic appearance around the seat belt achor and prevents invasion of dusts and freign matters into the inside of the cover member and seat belt anchor.

Abstract: A framework of seat back with an armrest, which includes an upper frame member, a pair of side frames secured thereto and a pair of reclining devices attached to the respective lower ends of the side frames. There is defined a reinforcement part extending from the upper frame member at the side where the armrest is provided, so that the armrest is supported on both side frame and reinforcement part, thereby providing a robust frame structure for supporting the armrest.
