  • Patent number: 5924849
Abstract: The present invention pertains to a holding device (4) for holding an electric fan (1), in particular, a minifan, on a mounting wall (2). The invention is characterized by at least one essentially flat holding part (10), one side of which defines a fan contact plane (12), wherein said holding part comprises at least one plug element (14) that projects from the holding part (10) approximately perpendicular to the contact plane (12) and can be positively and/or nonpositively inserted into a mounting hole (16) of the fan (1) as well as at least one pin-like fastening element (22) that projects from the holding part (10) approximately perpendicular to the plug element (14) and can be inserted into a hole (20) in the mounting wall (2).

  • Patent number: 4886415
Abstract: A fan assembly for the cooling of electronic systems, where a square housing is provided with a central electric motor for the impeller, and a first main inlet surface of the housing is arranged perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the impeller and in parallel to the inflow direction, and where the flow through the fan is deflected by 90.degree. after it leaves the impeller to exit, the housing at at least one lateral outlet surface that is perpendicular to the first main inlet surface which assembly results in a drastic reduction of noise.

  • Patent number: 3995790
Abstract: A cassette for tape-shaped record carriers having optically viewable recordings has a housing provided with a pair of opposite but spaced end walls and a pair of opposite but spaced side walls which connect the end walls and one of which is transparent. A pair of tape hubs is rotatably mounted in the housing and a tape is convoluted on and extends between the hubs for travel from one to the other thereof. One of the end walls is provided with an opening through which a recording device has access to the tape so as to provide recordings on the same. A guide arrangement in the interior of the housing guides the tape so that when it travels from one to the other of the hubs it must first pass the opening and thereupon must travel past the transparent side wall so that, when the cassette is inserted into an optical readout device, the recordings on the tape are visible through the side wall.
