    Abstract: A breast implant comprising an outer shell that may be filled with saline or a double shell comprising two chambers, wherein the outer shell may be filled with silicone gel and the inner shell may be filled with saline. Alternatively, the single lumen saline chamber may contain several bubble shells disposed within the lumen to baffle the saline, giving the implant a more gel-like feel. The implant may be selectively filled with saline via a self-sealing valve located on the superior edge of the exterior surface of the outer shell. The valve is palpable but small enough so as not to bother the patient. The valve includes an injection port that provides access to the saline lumen so that the size of the shell is adjustable.

Each end of the morselizer is attachable to a structure with a complimentarily sized luer fitting. In an embodiment, the morselizer facilitates atraumatic resizing of material through axial liquid transfer, by transferring material from a first structure attached to the first end section, thence through the channel, where material is resized by the blade, and through the second end section to a second structure attached to the second end section. The resized material may be suitable for injection, such as through a fine needle.

    Abstract: A biocompatible fabric comprised of a strong absorbable material and ultra fine permanent fibers which serve as a collagen support system for prosthesis devices and implants. The permanent fibers stimulate the growth of collagen but are too weak to offer the initial support desired. As the absorbable material dissolves, the collagen formed over the permanent fiber assumes the support role from the absorbable material. The supporting system is natural in appearance and motion without encapsulation or rigidity. The absorbable material can be overlaid with the non-absorbable fiber which after absorption leaves the non-absorbable mesh in an array. The fibers can be discontinuous, loosely woven or embedded in an absorbable material and can be patterned to provide various strengths and degrees of motion and movement. The materials can be coated or infused with materials to reduce infection, provide tissue growth, reduce scar tissue or other medicinal purposes.

    Abstract: A transitional mesh and thread for use in the human body is dissolved. The transitional mesh being comprised of sections of non-absorbable mesh fabric with sections of absorbable mesh fabric, such that each non-absorbable section is attached to absorbable mesh fabric. The non-absorbable mesh sections can be overlaid with absorbable mesh which after it is absorbed leaves the non-absorbable mesh in an array without connection to each other. The patterns of non-absorbable mesh and space between non-absorbable mesh sections can be varied to provide various strengths and degrees of motion and movement.     Abstract: A surgical implant namely a tissue expander or adjustable implant having a synthetic mesh loosely attached to the surface. The mesh is elastic in all directions and the implant adjustable or expandable. The expandable implant is filled to an over filled volume into the surrounding tissue until a new capsule forms. At this stage the volume of the implant is reduced leaving the supporting capsule with the mesh at a larger volume. The volume of the implant is then reduced thus rendering a tension free capsule around the implant. The filling tube of the adjustable implant is then removed leaving the adjustable implant in position. Alternatively the tissue expander may be removed and a new implant placed in the expanded tension free pocket.
