    Abstract: Method and system for interactive delivery of data content to mobile devices are disclosed. The method includes receiving a rich media message to be transmitted to a mobile device, where the rich media message includes multimedia data, determining a mode of data communication of the mobile device, parsing the rich media message into one or more text SMS (short message service) messages in response to a determination that the mobile device is capable of processing only text SMS messages, and transmitting the one or more text SMS messages to the mobile device.
