Abstract: A slide and pivot assembly for a process module bias assembly of a substrate processing system includes a slide torsion plate, one or more rails and bearings, a bias mounting plate, and a hinge assembly. The one or more rails and bearings are attached to the slide torsion plate or a processing chamber. The bias mounting plate is configured to hold a portion of a process module for processing a substrate. The hinge assembly is attached to the slide torsion plate and the bias mounting plate. The slide torsion plate, the bias mounting plate and the hinge assembly are configured to slide via the one or more rails and bearings in a lateral direction relative to the processing chamber. The bias mounting plate is configured to pivot relative to the slide torsion plate while the slide and pivot assembly is in at least a partially pulled out state.

Abstract: There is provided a method for accessing at least one digital file from a collection comprising more than one digital file in an electronic device, including: generating one index comprising of information entries obtained from each of the more than one digital file in the collection, with each digital file in the collection information being linked to at least one information entry; receiving a speaker independent speech input in at least one language during a speech reception mode; determining a language of the speech input; and setting the speech reception mode to the language of the speech input; comparing the speech input received during the speech reception mode with the entries in the index. The file may advantageously be accessed when the speech input coincides with at least one of the information entries in the index. The digital files may be stored in the electronic device, any device functionally connected to the electronic device or a combination of the aforementioned.

Abstract: A health-care system comprising: a processing machine; a plurality of biosensors respectively associated with individuals, each of the biosensors being operable to gather information regarding physiological parameters of the respective individuals and relay the information to the processing machine over a network; and data links from the processing machine to respective providers of a plurality of different health-care services to allow the transmission of instructions over the network for appropriate action to be taken in response to a determination that an individual is likely to suffer from a medical condition.

Abstract: A prototype production system, comprising: a plurality of machining apparatuses for carrying out respective manufacturing processes on a prototype; a device for transporting the prototype between the machining apparatuses and positioning the prototype appropriately for each of the respective manufacturing processes to be carried out; and a processor having means to receive prototype data specifying a prototype and means to deconstruct the production of the prototype into a series of manufacturing processes to be performed by respective machining apparatuses.

Abstract: A web-based data processing system is used in a Business-to-Business (B2B) exchange for providing one-stop manufacturing solutions. In a B2B exchange, this system provides a moderator desktop for project planning, quoting, coordination and supervisory of all web-based business transactions from mechanical/electronic design and production of first article, tooling, production, financing, insurance, warehousing to end-product delivery. Also, this system provides a machine web communication desktop for web-based maintenance and support to members, process lines, systems and machines, and web-based resource sharing to “pay as you go” members and “flat fee” members. Likewise, this system provides dedicated desktops for other participants in the B2B exchange for direct and critical communication, collaboration and commerce transaction with moderator and machine web communication center.
