Abstract: An organic EL display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a substrate on which a display region including a plurality of pixels including an organic EL layer and an external region that surrounds the display region are formed, at least one separating wall that is formed at a part of the external region on the substrate, and an organic layer that covers at least a part of the display region, includes an organic material, and is formed on a display region side of the at least one separating wall. A wall surface of the display region side of the at least one separating wall includes an inclined surface that is inclined toward the display region side as it is extended away from the substrate.

Abstract: A display device is disclosed including an array substrate including a plurality of pixels arranged in a display region, the display region including a planar region and a curved region, and a sealing layer covering the plurality of pixels and arranged across the display region, wherein the sealing layer includes a first organic insulation layer and a second organic insulation layer, a film thickness of the first organic insulation layer is more than a film thickness of the second organic insulation layer in the planar region, a film thickness of the second organic insulation layer is more than a film thickness of the first organic insulation layer in the curved region, and a hardness of the second organic insulation layer is lower than a hardness of the first organic insulation layer.

Abstract: Provided is a highly reliable organic EL display device. The organic EL display device includes a first insulating layer; and a display portion provided on the first insulating layer, the display portion including a plurality of pixels. The display portion includes a light emitting layer included in organic EL elements included in the plurality of pixels, the light emitting layer being extended in the entirety of, and beyond, the display portion. The organic EL display device further includes a first groove enclosing the display portion as seen in a plan view, the first groove being provided in the first insulating layer at a position below the light emitting layer. A second insulating layer covering the first groove may be provided between the first insulating layer and the light emitting layer.
