Patent number: 7332644Abstract: The objects of the present invention is to provide a preventive method for the progress of neuropsychiatric disorders, a therapeutic agent for neuropsychiatric disorders, a screening method thereof, and a therapeutic method through the analysis of the mechanisms leading to neuropsychiatric disorders such as Nasu-Hakola diseases and the like. The non-human animal model of oligodendrocytes developmental disorders was generated by making the DAP12 gene function deficient on its chromosome. The DAP12 knockout mouse develops myelination disorders including hypomyelinosis in the brain, particularly in the frontal head and the thalamus, further leading to neuropsychiatric disorders such as Nasu-Hakola disease and the like with aging. The screening method for a therapeutic agent, the diagnostic method, and the therapeutic method, wherein the DAP12 knockout mouse developing these disorders are used, have been developed.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 2003Date of Patent: February 19, 2008Assignee: Japan Science and Technology AgencyInventors: Toshiyuki Takai, Hiroaki Aso, Michihiro Fujiwara

Patent number: 4918830Abstract: A permanent magnet DC machine is prepared by attaching auxiliary magnetic poles having higher reversible permeability than that of main magnetic poles constituted by anisotropic permanent magnets which are to be attached to the inner circumferential surface of a yoke by welding;arranging a non-magnetic substance having a triangular shape in cross section to a side surface of each of the auxiliary magnetic poles and the inner circumferential surface of the yoke so as to form a leakage magnetic path breaking section at the radially outer part of each of the non-magnetic substances so that the length of the leakage magnetic path breaking section is greater than the air gap formed between a rotor and a stator; positioning the main magnetic poles of anistropic permanent magnets with respect to the other side surface of each of the non-magnetic substances and the inner circumferential surface of the yoke; and fixing main magnetic poles by an adhesive agent or by inserting forcibly a plate spring in a channel form iType: GrantFiled: March 21, 1989Date of Patent: April 24, 1990Inventor: Hiroaki Aso

Patent number: 4918323Abstract: A field core and an armature core are directly mounted on a cylinder block, and a clutch plate frictionally connected with a clutch disc is mounted through a cushioning material to a revolving-field poles mounted on the engine crankshaft, so that a space will be provided between the clutch plate at this frictionally connected area and the revolving-field poles, thereby insulating by the space the frictional heat at the clutch plate connection area caused by clutch connection and disconnection, thus restraining temperature rise of the revolving-field poles, and preventing deformation and damage of the revolving-field poles. The cushioning material has an effect to absorb various types of vibrations occurring with connection and disconnection between the clutch plate and the clutch disc.Type: GrantFiled: October 6, 1988Date of Patent: April 17, 1990Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Hiroaki Aso

Patent number: 4914334Abstract: A permanent magnet DC machine comprising a rotor and a stator diametrically opposed to the rotor through a fine air gap therebetween. The stator comprises a yoke, main magnetic poles of anisotropic permanent magnet provided on an inner circumferential surface of the yoke and auxiliary magnetic poles provided respectively adjacent to the main magnetic poles side by side, each of the auxiliary magnetic pole being made of a material having higher reversible permeability than said permanent magnet. Each pair of the main and auxiliary magnetic poles are arranged so that they are in contact with each other at a radially inner portion of the magnetic poles and are separated from each other at a radially outer side of the magnetic poles to thereby form a magnetic leakage-path breaking air gap portion therebetween.Type: GrantFiled: March 23, 1989Date of Patent: April 3, 1990Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Hiroaki Aso
