  • Patent number: 7585168
Abstract: Die opening-closing means 10 includes a servo motor 11 and a movement conversion mechanism and is disposed between a support plate 8 and a base stand 1. A movable plate 4 is mounted on the support plate 8 that is disposed on the base stand 1 via a linear movement guide 7. In a forging cycle, die opening and closing is performed by activation of the die opening-closing means 10 and tie bar fixing means 21 at a rear surface side of the movable plate 4, and clamping force is obtained using a die clamping cylinder 30 provided in the movable plate 2. When it is necessary to change over exclusive dies 3b and 5b, change over is performed by: extending tie bar removal cylinders 41 provided in a frame 40 behind the movable plate 4 so as to remove tie bars 6 from a fixed plate 2; and moving a movable rail 52b of internal rails 52 to an open position and moving the change over carriage in along the internal rails 52 from the outside.

  • Publication number: 20080199171
Abstract: In order to appropriately measure light during preliminary light emission, regardless of an imaging sensitivity during imaging in an imaging device which measures light during preliminary light emission based on an image signal which is output from an imaging unit based on reflected light from an object, and calculates an amount of main light emission during imaging based on the measurement result, an imaging unit outputs an image signal which is amplified by an amplification corresponding to an imaging sensitivity based on object light. A strobe controller measures reflected light from an object during preliminary light emission which is executed prior to the main light emission during imaging based on an image signal which is output by the imaging unit based on the reflected light, and calculates an amount of main light emission for the main light emission based on the measurement result.

  • Publication number: 20080025712
Abstract: To enable easy ascertainment of operating status of an imaging device having multiple optical systems. The imaging apparatus has a first imaging optical system and a second imaging optical system. When the two optical systems are actuated simultaneously, an image captured through the first imaging optical system and an image captured through the second imaging optical system are displayed side by side on an LCD, and an indicator is displayed concurrently on the LCD. The LCD displays a zoom position of each of the optical systems as well as the operating statuses of the optical systems.

  • Publication number: 20070096024
Abstract: A digital camera automatically determines a scene for image capturing. A temperature sensor detects the temperature of a field, and a temperature-based information characteristic extraction circuit classifies the temperature into any of “high temperature,” “body temperature,” and “low temperature” categories. A scene determination circuit determines a scene by combination of temperature characteristics with movements, a hue, saturation, luminance, and the like, of an image detected by an image characteristic extraction circuit. For instance, when a lower portion of the screen has a low color temperature and a low saturation level, the scene is determined to be snow scene. According to the determined scene, a CPU controls exposure, shutter speed, the quantity of strobe light, and the like.

  • Patent number: 7186106
Abstract: In a molding machine, a fixed platen which supports a fixed die is disposed on one end of a base plate. A movable platen which supports a movable die and a supporting mount which supports each one end portion of the four tie bars are mounted on slide units. The movable platen and the supporting mount are advanced so as to close the die, a tip portion of each tie bar is locked to the fixed platen by a lock mechanism, and a die clamping cylinder provided on the movable platen is actuated to generate a clamping force so as to execute molding. After that, the lock mechanism executes an unlocking operation so as to cause the movable platen and the supporting mount to retreat to a die open position. Furthermore, an attaching and detaching mechanism releases the die clamping cylinder so as to cause only the supporting mount to significantly retreat from the movable platen, and thus the four tie bars are completely evacuated from the fixed die and the movable die.

  • Publication number: 20060027535
Abstract: First and second etching solutions 23 and 24 are used for etching treatments of glass substrates 11 and 12. The first etching solution 23 is faster in etching rate than the second one 24. The first etching solution first etches surface 11a of the glass substrate 11 and the surface 12a of the glass substrate 12. Even where there are the origins of pits 14 (concave defects) on the surfaces 11a and 12a, this etching treatment can remove them from the surfaces 11a and 12a because the etching runs faster than the occurrence of the pits. The second etching solution 24 which is slower in etching rare than the first one is then applied to etch the surfaces 11a and 12a. As a result, the etching treatments make the surfaces 11a and 12a as thin as desirable and sufficiently flat.

  • Patent number: 5805943
Abstract: A camera capable of securing a more stable film loading operation and further of conducting a more stable information recording operation. The camera is equipped with a film loading motor (48), a film winding gear train, a film forwarding gear train and a clutch for releasing the transfer of a driving force of the motor (48) to the film forwarding gear train. When the reduction ratio of the film winding gear train is taken to be iW, the reduction ratio of the film forwarding gear train is taken to be iAL and the radius of the outermost portion of a spool shaft (56a) and spool rubber (56b) constituting a film take-up spool is taken as Rs (mm), the relationship among these values is determined as (iAL/iW).times.Rs=.gamma. where .gamma..gtoreq.13.6. In addition, in this case, the value .gamma. satisfies .gamma..gtoreq.19.0.

  • Patent number: 5346666
Abstract: An improved process and apparatus for blow molding of engineering plastic materials, using a mold and an extrusion machine with a die for producing a hollow plastic parison to be partially received in the mold. An extrusion operation and a preblowing operation with air from the die into the parison are concurrently commenced at a high extrusion speed and a low air pressure, with a material remaining in the die being integrated with an upstream portion of a preceding parison prepared in a preceding blow molding run, to complete the downstream parison. The upstream portion has a closed and free lower end prepared in the preceding run. The apparatus is provided with a pinching and cutting device for self-adhering and separating the completed parison above and in the vicinity of the mold to prepare the above mentioned closed free end.

  • Patent number: 5269985
Abstract: A method and apparatus for injecting and mold clamping control of an injection blow molding machine, wherein a parison injected downward from a die between mold halves defining a cavity is detected to thereby determine the dynamic locus of its free end. In every run the mold clamping is commanded to start before the end of injection is commanded and is effected according to the clamping operational conditions determined based on the parison locus determined in the instant or preceding run. In one method a clamping starting time is determined by a calculation with a predetermined clamping stroke speed. In another alternative method an initial clamping stroke speed is determined by a calculation with a predetermined clamping starting time and following stroke speed.
