    Abstract: The present invention relates to an aqueous dispersion of a polymer composition comprising (A) a copolymer which comprises (a.sub.1) a unit derived from a vinyl monomer having a hydrolyzable silyl group and (a.sub.2) a unit derived from another vinyl monomer copolymerizable with (a.sub.1), and (B) a water-soluble polymer having an amineimide group. The aqueous dispersion of the present invention has good polymerization stability, mechanical stability and storage stability, and is useful in various applications such as coating materials, paints, adhesives, primers and binders.
