    Abstract: In a motor-generator control system for controlling a motor-generator, first and second sets of multiphase windings of a motor-generator are arranged to be spatially shifted in phase from each other. An allocating unit is configured to, upon input of workload request for the motor-generator, determine a first torque to be allocated to the first set of multiphase windings and a second torque to be allocated to the second set of multiphase windings. A resultant torque of the first torque and second torque meets the input workload request for the motor-generator. An energizing unit is configured to energize the first set of multiphase windings to create the first torque and energize the second set of multiphase windings to create the second torque.

    Abstract: In a method of reflow soldering, a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery is discharged to a first discharge voltage different from a second discharge voltage at an inflection point in a discharge curve of the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery having an axis of abscissa representing discharge capacity and an axis of ordinate representing discharge voltage. The discharged non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery is placed on a substrate which is then exposed to a reflow soldering temperature to reflow solder the non-aqueous secondary battery to the substrate. The first discharge voltage is higher than the second discharge voltage to prevent degradation of characteristics of the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery resulting from decomposition of the non-aqueous electrolyte due to reaction of the non-aqueous electrolyte with excessive lithium ions in the cathode active material when the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery is exposed to the reflow soldering temperature.

    Abstract: A heat transport device includes a container having a hollow structure including a fluid channel, at least one thermal-receiver heat exchanger and one thermal-radiator heat exchanger arranged side-by-side on an outer wall of the container along the fluid channel, and driving heat exchangers at respective terminal portions of the container. In this heat transport device, both ends of the fluid channel are closed to prevent intrusion of external air, and a liquid and a gas are sealed in the fluid channel. The driving heat exchangers cause the liquid to oscillate in the container along the internal fluid channel. The heat transport device provides low acoustic noise performance, improved temperature controllability, high heat transportation and heat radiating capacities, and improved heat transfer and fluid flow characteristics.
