  • Publication number: 20180170370
Abstract: A driving supporter includes an environment obtainer and a support controller configured to control a supporting device to perform driving support such that an own vehicle travels along a target traveling line. The environment obtainer includes a relative-positional-relationship obtainer configured to obtain a relative positional relationship between the own vehicle and an object detected based on object information obtained by an object-information obtainer. The support controller includes an offset-target-traveling-line setter configured to set, when the relative positional relationship is a specific relationship in which it is estimated that a steering operation in a direction in which the own vehicle avoids the object is to be performed, the target traveling line to an offset position that is shifted in a direction identical to a direction of a steering operation from the target traveling line located when the relative positional relationship is not the specific relationship.

  • Publication number: 20180154938
Abstract: A lane keeping traveling support apparatus includes a driving support ECU. The driving support ECU is configured to inform a driver that the LDA control is being performed by causing the driver to have uncomfortable feeling by a movement of a steering wheel and a vehicle behavior when the LDA control is performed. This function is achieved by enhancing responsiveness of the LDA control.

  • Publication number: 20180148092
Abstract: A vehicle driving assist apparatus of the invention executes an interpolation estimation process for estimating a road end line when the road end line becomes unable to be acquired and executes a road end line departure prevention control to prevent a vehicle from departing from the estimated road end line. The apparatus stops the interpolation estimation process and the road end line departure prevention control when a predetermined time elapses. When a last road end line extends toward an own vehicle traveling lane, the apparatus sets the predetermined time such that the predetermined time set when a road end line angle defined between extending directions of the last road end line and the own vehicle traveling lane is large, is smaller than the predetermined time set when the road end line angle is small.

  • Publication number: 20180148093
Abstract: A vehicle driving assist apparatus of the invention does not execute a road end line departure prevention control when a next lane vehicle traveling in a next lane is acquired as a road end line and an amount of an operation input to a steering wheel of an own vehicle to cause the own vehicle to move into the next lane, is larger than or equal to a predetermined operation amount.

  • Publication number: 20180134290
Abstract: When switching from lane departure suppression control (LDA control) to lane keep assist control (LKA control), a self-vehicle is suppressed from deviating out of a traveling lane. A driving assist preferentially carries out the LKA control, but carries out the LDA control instead of the LKA control when there is a possibility that the self-vehicle may deviate out of the traveling lane under the LKA control. When the LDA control is returned to the LKA control after the lane departure avoidance operation of the self-vehicle is completed, the LDA control is continued while an angle between an orientation of the self-vehicle and the traveling lane is not a predetermined angle or less, and it is switched to the LKA control after the angle becomes the predetermined angle or less.

  • Patent number: 9406232
Abstract: A driving support ECU 1 detects for a lane dividing line on a road surface which is travelled upon, by using an image which is taken by a camera 2 and which represents the road surface which is traveled upon and is in front of a vehicle, sets a virtual lane dividing line in a section in which no lane dividing line is drawn, performs a driving support by controlling the vehicle based on the lane dividing line and the virtual lane dividing line, and issues a warning when the vehicle deviates from the virtual lane dividing line. Further, the driving support ECU 1 detects a state of the vehicle, calculates information indicating the state as vehicle information, cancels the driving support when the vehicle information satisfies a predetermined cancel condition, and inhibits the warning when the driving support is canceled.

  • Patent number: 8676441
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a steering assist device which can perform steering assist control having excellent capability to follow up a traveling path by increasing the steering amount in the steering control at a curve entrance. A steering assist device of the present invention is a steering assist device 1 for calculating a steering target value based on a shape of a traveling path on which a vehicle travels, and assisting steering according to the steering target value, wherein it is determined whether the vehicle is traveling a curve entrance of the traveling path, and when it is determined that the vehicle is traveling a curve entrance, a change in the steering target value is increased compared with the case of traveling a part of the path other than a curve entrance. As a result, a steering amount to turn the steering wheel can be increased at a curve entrance, and a delay in the turning of the steering wheel at a curve entrance can be suppressed.

  • Patent number: 8663929
Abstract: The present invention relates to an in-vitro immunoassay method for detecting the presence of liver cancer cells in a subject. In the method of the present invention, antigen retrieval treatment based on heat-induced epitope retrieval method and antigen retrieval treatment based on protease-induced epitope retrieval method can be combined in the detection of glypican 3 antigen expression in liver cancer tissues to thereby detect the difference in the expression level or expression pattern of the glypican 3 antigen by immunohistochemical staining method. This enables samples, which has been determined by the conventional HIER method as highly expressing glypican 3, to be graded according to the expression level of glypican 3.

  • Patent number: 8521363
Abstract: A driving assist system assists steering such that a vehicle travels along a set target course. A steering torque sensor detects a steering torque that serves as a steering operation input value generated by a driver. If the steering torque value is equal to or greater than a preset reference value and a direction corresponding to the steering torque is a direction away from another vehicle present ahead in an adjacent lane, then an ECU corrects the target course to a course that moves away from the other vehicle.
