Abstract: A turbocharger includes: a turbine housing which houses a turbine impeller; an introduction hole provided in the turbine housing and configured to guide an exhaust gas, which flows into the introduction hole from an exhaust manifold of an engine, to the turbine impeller; a valve provided inside the introduction hole and configured to open and close an exhaust-gas discharge hole in the exhaust manifold; and a restriction portion configured to restrict a turn of the mounting plate in order to make part of an outer peripheral surface of a stem, which is exposed through an exposure hole of the mounting plate, visible from outside of the turbine housing.
