  • Publication number: 20100007710
Abstract: A printed sheet can be treated safely and conveniently in accordance with the degree of its content confidentiality as to secret information limited to distribution, duplication, etc. and non-confidential information. A sheet is provided with an IC tag and further machine identifiably expressed pattern information is added and printed as a key necessary to access the information stored at the IC tag to be a printed sheet. Thus, the secret information can be conveniently distributed together with information disclosed by printing while being kept safely in the IC tag, and cannot be accessed unless the printed sheet is available. Further, since the expressed pattern information is made to have an access level to secret information, the access to secret information can be set in accordance with the degree of confidentiality.

  • Publication number: 20090174916
Abstract: With a small and simple constitution, a three-dimensional subject and a sheet document can be imaged. There are provided an image forming unit (110) for forming an image, an top face sheet ejecting unit (130) for ejecting a paper sheet (P) onto the top face of the device body (101), a top face ejected sheet tray (150) capable of receiving an ejected paper sheet (P) and openable/closable with respect to the device body (101), a platen glass (160) on which a subject is placed, a two-dimensional sensor (170) provided to the top face ejected sheet tray (150) to image the subject placed on the platen glass (160), and a manual feed unit (210) for transporting sheet originals (S) one by one and passing an original through an original information read section. The two-dimensional sensor (170) is so provided that the image of the sheet original appearing in the original information read section is formed on the partial area of the imaging area (170a).

  • Publication number: 20090051497
Abstract: Even in the bound form of a document composed of document sheets, the tag information on each document sheet can be read. When the documents sheet are printed by two-sided printing, the tag information on each page of the document sheet can be read by detecting the front and back of the sheet in a simple manner. Information is exchanged between a wireless IC tag (1) and a reader upon receipt of a radio wave from the reader. When a received right signal is obtained by receiving an outside light, no response to the reader is sent to depending on the received light signal. The tag information to be exchanged includes, as its part, the received light information corresponding to the received light signal.

  • Patent number: 6830302
Abstract: An inkjet head driving circuit driving piezoelectric actuators 21 for ink ejection provided on an inkjet head H includes one D/A converter 62 that converts a digital signal into an analog voltage and outputs the analog voltage, and a waveform generating portion 64 into which an output voltage of the D/A converter 62 is input, and which generates a voltage rising waveform when the output voltage of the D/A converter 62 is larger than a predetermined potential that is midway between a maximum value and a minimum value of that output voltage, and generates a voltage rising waveform when the output voltage of the D/A converter 62 is smaller than the predetermined potential.
