Publication number: 20230037838Abstract: A new reading method is recorded in a code region generated by arranging a plurality of kinds of cells according to a conventional reading method. Furthermore, the code region generated in such a manner that the reading method information is recoded according to the conventional reading method according to which reading is possible by a reading device is displayed together with a code region generated according to the new reading method.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 27, 2022Publication date: February 9, 2023Applicant: DENSO WAVE INCORPORATEDInventors: Kunihiko ITO, Takuya YODA, Atsushi TANO, Hiroaki MIZUKOSHI, Takao USHIJIMA

Patent number: 10303912Abstract: An information code is provided as a light transmissive object in which an information code is formed. When visible light is radiated to the object, the object maintains its light transmissive state, with no presentation from an information code in the object. Light of a first wavelength band, which differs from the visible light, is radiated to the object, the information code produces an image on light of a second wavelength band which differs from the first wavelength band. From an information code reader, the light of the first wavelength band is radiated to the information code medium, during which the light of the second wavelength band from the code is received by the reader. Based on reception results of the light of the second wavelength band, the information code is decoded. By way of example, decoded results are used to determine if the information code is authentic.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 2013Date of Patent: May 28, 2019Assignee: DENSO WAVE INCORPORATEDInventor: Hiroaki Mizukoshi

Patent number: 8434690Abstract: A two-dimensional code having a rectangular region is provided. In the rectangular region, there are a plurality of code blocks, a first specific pattern, and error-correction code blocks. Each code block is composed of a plurality of cells aggregated together and formed to have both a specified corner in the rectangular region and the plurality of code blocks arranged in the rectangular region. The specific pattern is used to specify the positions of the cells. The error-correction code blocks are contained in the code blocks and formed to correct an error. The error-correction code blocks are arranged contiguously to part of the borders of the rectangular region. The part of the borders is displaced from the first specific pattern. Compressed data code blocks are also arranged in the same way as the error-correction code blocks.Type: GrantFiled: March 16, 2009Date of Patent: May 7, 2013Assignee: Denso Wave IncorporatedInventors: Takao Ushijima, Hiroaki Mizukoshi, Hayato Kita

Patent number: 8424775Abstract: A two-dimensional code having a rectangular region is provided. In the rectangular region, there are code blocks composed of a plurality of cells, a first specific pattern specifying the positions of the cells, and a second specific pattern separating the code blocks from a background of the code. The first specific pattern is located at a specified corner of the rectangular region. The second specific pattern is located along one or more of first borders along which the first specific pattern is located, the first borders being part of the borders of the rectangular region. The code blocks include error-correction code blocks, which are located along second borders which are different from a border of the borders along which the second specific pattern is located. The second borders are part of the borders. Compressed data code blocks are also arranged in the same way as the error-correction code blocks.Type: GrantFiled: February 8, 2012Date of Patent: April 23, 2013Assignee: Denso Wave IncorporatedInventors: Hiroaki Mizukoshi, Masami Tanaka, Yuichi Ito, Hayato Kita, Takao Ushijima, Masahiro Hara

Patent number: 7880865Abstract: In a laser radar apparatus, a laser beam generator that generates a laser beam and an optical detector that detects reflected light that has been reflected by an object in a field to be observed. A deflection performing means, provided with one or more deflection means each rotatable on a given central axis thereof, for enabling the deflection means to deflect the laser beam to the field and to deflect the reflected light toward the optical detector. A drive means driven to rotate the deflection means. A direction changing means changes a direction of the laser beam from the deflection means is changed in a direction of the central axis. A control means controls an operation of the direction changing means.Type: GrantFiled: February 28, 2008Date of Patent: February 1, 2011Assignee: DENSO WAVE INCORPORATEDInventors: Hideyuki Tanaka, Masanori Okada, Koji Konosu, Tadao Nojiri, Kunihiko Ito, Hiroaki Mizukoshi, Kenichi Yoshida
