  • Patent number: 6763934
Abstract: An electromagnetically driven transport device 1 includes a transport unit 4 for transporting an article M to be transported, an electromagnetically driven vibrating unit 2 for vibrating the transport unit 1 to transport the article, a frequency controlling unit 14, a time detecting unit 15 and a frequency setting unit 16. The frequency controlling unit 14 controls a driving frequency of a driving power source 13 of the vibrating unit 2. The time detecting unit 15 detects a time length T during which when the driving frequency is changed the driving current of the vibrating unit at each of frequency exceeds a reference current value. The frequency setting unit 16 is operable to set an actual driving frequency based on the time length T detected by the time detecting unit 15.

  • Publication number: 20020166753
Abstract: A plurality of trough displacement characteristics and drive signals for driving a drive unit 26 for a trough 25 are determined in association with each other and the speed of transport of the articles M transported by the trough 25 having one of the trough displacement characteristics is also determined. Accordingly, a plurality of relationships between the transport speed of the articles M and the drive signal of the drive unit 26 can be determined and, based on these relationships and merely by inputting a target speed to be attained by the articles M, the drive signal for the drive unit 26 can easily be selected which enables the speed of transport of the articles M to attain the target speed.

  • Patent number: 6376784
Abstract: To provide a compact vibrating transport apparatus in which the amount of an article M to be transported can be controlled highly accurately, the vibrating transport apparatus is designed to transport the article M loaded on a trough 4 by vibrating the trough 4 in a predetermined vibrating direction. The apparatus includes strain gauges 14a to 14d mounted on a portion of the transport apparatus where elastic strains are developed upon placement of the article M on the trough 4, and a weight detecting circuit 15 for detecting the weight W of the article M placed on the trough 4 on the basis of the amount of the strains detected by the strain gauges 14a to 14d.

  • Patent number: 6301859
Abstract: A heat sealer capable of providing a high sealing strength by appropriating a distribution of temperature at two sheet contact faces (19a, 19b) includes a block (31) made of a metallic material having a high rigidity and operable to heat the resinous sheet (S) while pressing the latter. The block (31) is provided with heaters (24a, 24b) therein and also with heat conducting members (33a, 33b) each having an excellent heat conductive characteristic higher than that of the metallic material. The heat conducting members (33a, 33b) are positioned between the heaters (24a, 24b) and the sheet contact faces (19a, 19b), respectively.
