  • Patent number: 6349087
Abstract: A disk is moved between disk cartridges without being in touch with the disk. Therefore, movement of the disk between the disk cartridges is carried out via a disk holder. Further, when the disk is moved between the disk cartridges, disk information of the cartridge is also moved simultaneously. Accordingly, the disk information held by the disk cartridge is provided at a disk holder portion and the disk information can be read by other disk device. Further, the disk holder is provided with a region representing information of the disk. When it is made to be a label region, in moving the disk between the disk cartridges, also the disk information held by the disk holder can simultaneously be moved. Further, even when the disk cartridge incorporates the disk, the content of the disk can easily be recognized via the disk holder. Further, a user can arbitrarily write or erase content of the disk to or from the label region, the disk is recognized easily and easiness of use is considerably promoted.

  • Patent number: 6331118
Abstract: An electrode spacing conversion adaptor is formed of a plurality of sheet elements having top and bottom electrodes arrayed at different intervals along upper and lower ends of each sheet element, respectively, wherein the top electrodes are individually connected to their corresponding bottom electrodes by intermediate conductors. The individual sheet elements are angled such that the upper portions of the sheet elements carrying the top electrodes are stacked at intervals different from intervals at which the lower portions carrying the bottom electrodes are stacked. The individual sheet elements may be stacked to form laminated pieces in such a way that the bottom electrodes are concentrated in a small area while the top electrodes are distributed over a larger area at greater intervals in two horizontal directions.

  • Patent number: 6089657
Abstract: A seat cushion pad for automobiles, wherein at least a part of the seat surface portion comprises a high-resilience foam. The foam is selected such that a load ratio (3%ISR) between a load at which the thickness is 25% compressed when pressed with a pressure plate having a diameter of 60 mm (25%-strain load) and a load at which the thickness is 3% compressed when pressed with the same pressure plate (3%-strain load) is at least about 6. Alternatively, another ratio (5%ISR) between the load at which the thickness is 25% compressed when pressed with the above dimensioned pressure plate (25%-strain load) and a load at which the thickness is 5% compressed when pressed with the pressure plate (5%-strain load) is selected to be at least about 4. Such design provides comfortable seating and resistance against fatigue even during periods of extended driving, and can be prepared at a low cost with a large degree of design freedom.

  • Patent number: 5930274
Abstract: An information recording and reproduction apparatus for recording and reproducing the information supplied through the transmission line is capable of protecting the copyright by limiting the reproduction of the recorded information. A main information signal supplied through the transmission line and a deadline signal attached to the main information signal and representing the reproduction deadline of the main information signal are recorded and reproduced by a recording device and a reproduction device respectively. A temporal information signal representing the date and time is acquired. The deadline signal reproduced is compared with the temporal information signal acquired. The reproduction output of the main information signal is cut off in accordance with the comparison signal produced by the comparison. In the case where the temporal information has passed the deadline, the reproduction output of the main information signal is cut off.
