When an automobile-AV apparatus acquires TOC information that corresponds to music data recorded on a CD and then records the music data that is recorded on the CD on to a HD, it comprises an HD recording unit that sends the acquired TOC information to a service server via a network, and then receives the corresponding information that is related to the music data and that is sent from the service server and records the received corresponding information on to the HD.
