  • Publication number: 20080114377
Abstract: A clipping instrument for an endoscope is provided. The clipping instrument includes a flexible sheath and at least one clip assembly with a pair of openable and closable clipping arms. The clip assembly is arranged in vicinity to a distal end portion of the flexible sheath with the clipping arms closed. The clipping arms are configured to be protruded forward to open outside the flexible sheath and to be closed to clip onto a treatment object outside the flexible sheath. The clipping instrument further includes an operating wire, which is configured to be forwarded and retracted to operate the pair of arms to be opened and closed. The clip assembly includes a bendable portion, which corresponds to a position of a shaft to support the clipping arms. The clip assembly can be arbitrarily bended at the bendable portion.

  • Publication number: 20070100337
Abstract: A high-frequency incision instrument for an endoscope is provided with an electrically insulative flexible sheath constituted of a distal tube disposed at a tip portion thereof and a proximal tube disposed on a proximal side such that one is loosely inserted into the other so as to rotate around an axial line thereof, a high-frequency electrode exposed along a lateral surface of the distal tube and connected to a conductive operating wire extending throughout inside the distal tube and the proximal tube, so that a high-frequency current is supplied to the high-frequency electrode through the operating wire, and so that rotating the operating wire at a proximal end portion of the proximal tube around an axial line causes the distal tube to rotate around the axial line with respect to the proximal tube, thus to change an orientation of the high-frequency electrode.

  • Publication number: 20070043324
Abstract: An indwelling balloon catheter for an endoscope is provided with a flexible tube including a first lumen and a second lumen, the first lumen and the second lumen being arranged in parallel with each other and extending in an axial direction of the flexible tube over an entire length thereof, and a connector provided with a first connecting pipe and a second connecting pipe which protrude from a body of the connector, protruded portions of the first connecting pipe and the second connecting pipe being configured to be removably inserted into the first lumen and the second lumen, respectively. A cross sectional shape of the first lumen is a non-circular shape, a cross sectional shape of the first connecting pipe corresponding to the cross sectional shape of the first lumen. The first connecting pipe protrudes longer from the connector than the second connecting pipe.

  • Publication number: 20060173450
Abstract: An endoscopic high-frequency knife includes an insulating flexible sheath, a conductive wire inserted into the insulating flexible sheath, and a high-frequency cutting electrode. The high-frequency cutting electrode is installed in the endoscopic high-frequency knife so that an outer surface of the high-frequency cutting electrode is exposed at a side surface of the insulating flexible sheath in the vicinity of an end thereof. The conductive wire is electrically connected with the high-frequency cutting electrode. The insulating flexible sheath includes a distal portion and a proximal portion which are separated from each other. The distal portion and the proximal portion are freely rotatable relative to each other. A portion of the conductive wire in the vicinity of an end thereof is fixed to the distal portion to thereby prevent the distal portion from separating from the conductive wire even if the high-frequency cutting electrode breaks.

  • Publication number: 20060173451
Abstract: An endoscopic high-frequency treatment tool includes an insulating flexible sheath; a conductive stranded wire made of metal; and a cover sheath which is fitted on a portion of the conductive stranded wire in the vicinity of a end thereof. The conductive stranded wire is inserted into the insulating flexible sheath so as to be rotatable about an axis of the conductive stranded wire from a proximal end side thereof, and a part of wire strands of the conductive stranded wire is extended outwards from a portion of the insulating flexible sheath in the vicinity of a end thereof to be used as a high-frequency cutting electrode.

  • Publication number: 20050261675
Abstract: A high-frequency cutting instrument for an endoscope is provided. The instrument is provided with a flexible sheath formed of insulating material, a high-frequency electrode placed to be exposed on a lateral part of the flexible sheath in the vicinity of a tip of the flexible sheath, and a conductive wire inserted into the flexible sheath and electrically connected to the high-frequency electrode. In this structure, the flexible sheath is separated into a distal sheath and a proximal sheath at a separating position along the flexible sheath. The distal sheath and the proximal sheath are connected together at the separating position to be rotatable relative to each other around an axis line of the flexible sheath. Further, the distal sheath is rotated relative to the proximal sheath around the axis line by rotating the conductive wire around the axis line at a proximal end of the proximal sheath.

  • Publication number: 20050261735
Abstract: A forceps unit for an endoscope is provided. The forceps unit includes a flexible sheath, an operating wire placed inside the flexible sheath to be reciprocable in a direction of an axis of the flexible sheath, a pair of forceps end pieces, and two support shafts rotatably supporting the pair of forceps end pieces, respectively. The two support shafts are swaged and fixed to an end support frame provided to a distal end of the flexible sheath so that the pair of forceps end pieces rotatable around the two support shaft will open and close like a beak when the operating wire is operated back and forth. The forceps unit is further provided with a liquid feed channel that is placed inside the flexible sheath in parallel with the operating wire. In this structure, a distal part of the liquid feed channel is placed to pass between the two support shafts so that an outlet of the liquid feed channel will be placed in front of the two support shafts.

  • Patent number: 5815819
Abstract: An intermittent reception waiting time period is roughly counted by counting low frequency clocks using a low frequency clock counter and a remainder of the intermittent reception waiting time period which cannot be counted with a time resolution of the low frequency clocks is counted by counting high frequency clock pulses using a high frequency clock counter with a high time resolution. Outputs of the high frequency clocks are prohibited while the intermittent reception waiting time period is counted by the low frequency clock counter. As a result, accurate start timing of an intermittent reception can be set with reduced power consumption caused by prohibiting the outputs of the high frequency clock pulses.
