  • Patent number: 6531983
Abstract: An antenna assembly having patterned conductive films on the surfaces of a dielectric hexahedron with compatibility to mass-production, wherein the conductive films are formed on protuberances formed on the surface of the dielectric hexahedron on which protuberances and depressions are formed. In one embodiment, the dielectric hexahedron includes convex portions serving as the protuberances and concave portions serving as the depressions. A conductive film may be formed on the protuberances by roll coating, sputtering, evaporative deposition, and electroless deposition, thereby producing inexpensively a high quality antenna assembly having a circuit pattern formed thereon.

  • Patent number: 6486852
Abstract: The present invention relates to an antenna device to be used for portable communication sets and a method for reducing the manufacturing cost thereof. The antenna device includes a substrate having at least one of a dielectric material and a magnetic material and having upper and lower faces as well as a pair of side faces on which convex portions and concave portions are alternately formed. Also included is a helical conductor layer formed on the upper and lower faces, and on the concave portion or convex portion on a pair of the side faces of the substrate so as to spirally surround the entire substrate.

  • Patent number: 5945959
Abstract: An antenna device including a radiating conductor film having two ends adjacent to each other and connecting the two ends in a loop-like shape, formed on an upper face of a dielectric base body in a rectangular parallelepiped shape having the upper face and a lower face in a square shape in parallel with each other, a grounding conductor film extending in a planar shape formed on the lower face of the dielectric base body, and feeding conductor films and respectively connected to the two ends of the radiating conductor film 12. The feeding conductor films extend in the up and down direction in parallel with each other one of which is connected to the grounding conductor film, are formed on a side face of the dielectric base body 11. The antenna device has high directivity and efficiently transmits and receives electromagnetic waves used in communication.

  • Patent number: 5006953
Abstract: A lead type chip capacitor which is disclosed herein comprises a capacitor chip having a lead terminal bonded thereto through a joining or bonding layer made of a highly melting metal paste. The lead type chip capacitor is produced by bonding at least one internal electrode in a capacitor chip with a lead terminal by a metal paste, drying them at a temperature in a range of 100.degree. to 200.degree. C., and firing the resulting capacitor chip with the lead terminal bonded thereto at a temperature in a range of 500.degree. to 900.degree. C. in the air or in a nitrogen atmosphere.

  • Patent number: 4835656
Abstract: A multi-layered ceramic capacitor characterized by a structure containing glass material layers imposed between adjacent ceramic layers and conductive layers which sandwich the glass material therebetween. The conductive electrode layers and/or glass material layers bind the thin ceramic film pieces during firing at lower temperatures resulting in a strong bonded capacitor having numerous electrical applications.
