  • Patent number: 8962174
Abstract: A battery unit has a battery pack module that has a plurality of single cells, a control circuit board that has a control section that controls a charge and discharge in the battery pack module, and an accommodation case where the battery pack module and the control circuit board are accommodated. The control circuit board is disposed in a position above the battery pack module, and separated away from the base plate by a distance more than a distance from the base plate to a wall top end part of the wall section. Moreover, the submergence sensor is disposed in a position nearer to the base plate than to the wall top end part of the wall section that is in a space within the case 16 surrounded by the wall section.

  • Patent number: 8936303
Abstract: A cable routing structure for vehicle can reliably prevent a cable from being broken or damaged, and can reduce manufacturing cost. A cable is routed along a lower surface of a floor panel and connects a power generating motor installed in a vehicle front portion and a battery installed in a vehicle rear portion. A rigid tubular member having rigidity, is disposed along a vehicle front and rear direction in a floor tunnel. A flexible tubular member having flexibility is interposed between the rigid tubular member and the power generating motor. The cable is inserted through the rigid tubular member and the flexible tubular member. A front end portion of the rigid tubular member is disposed in the floor tunnel at a portion on a vehicle rear side relative to a front edge of the floor tunnel. When receiving pressure from a vehicle front side, the flexible tubular member is forcibly bent so as to be entered into in the floor tunnel.

  • Patent number: 7025160
Abstract: A structure for mounting electrical components to a vehicle. The structure includes a rear floor pan incorporating a U-shaped part transversely centered in the vehicle. Floor pan wing panels extend from each end of the U-shaped part and connect to vehicle side panels. An electrical component mounting rack includes a first frame attached to the U-shaped floor panel part, and a second frame attached to the top of the first frame and also to the floor pan wing panels. An electrical inverter device is mounted to the first frame and batteries are mounted to the second frame. The first and second frames form a structure that reinforces the rear floor pan in a manner capable of adequately supporting heavy electrical drive train components.
