    Abstract: To provide an output data controller which is capable of protecting the secrecy of print data and enhancing operability and where the degree of freedom of system constructability is high. In a file server, ID data is added to the header file of the print data stored in a first queue, and data representative of copy printing is added to the header file stored in a second queue. In security print mode, print data is not output to a printing device, if an ID and a password number collate with each other in a print server. In copy print mode, print data with data representative of copy printing is selected and output to the printing device.
