  • Publication number: 20060055968
Abstract: An object of this invention is to improve user friendliness of the box function. In a system having a storage means capable of storing data in a plurality of data storage boxes including first and second boxes, when the first job data transmitted without performing any predetermined operation by the user in the data generation apparatus is stored in the storage means, acceptance of a process request for the first job data from the first user via the first display associated with the first box on a user interface is permitted. When the second job data transmitted after performing the predetermined operation by the user is stored in the storage means, acceptance of a process request for the second job data from the first user via the first display associated with the first box on the user interface is permitted. In addition, acceptance of a process request for the second job data from the second user via the second display associated with the second box on the user interface is permitted.

  • Publication number: 20040169881
Abstract: Remote output environment remarkably improving convenience in remote output mode is provided so that print process according to original direction information detected by transmitter image forming apparatus can be performed by receiver image forming apparatus. Therefor, image processing system including first device having input unit of inputting image data and communication unit of performing data communication, and second device having communication unit of performing data communication and output unit of outputting image data sets the remote output mode for performing through the communication unit the data communication of the image data input by the first device and causing the second device to output the communicated data, causes the first device to acquire the direction information input by the first device, and causes in this mode the second device to output the image data from the first device in output manner based on the acquired information.

  • Publication number: 20030218768
Abstract: In a case where only one image forming apparatus ID stored in a PC coincides with an own ID of an image input/output system itself stored in this system, it is controlled to set up the option function of the image input/output system according to information concerning validation and invalidation of an option function of the image input/output system instructed on the PC side, while in a case where only one image forming apparatus ID does not coincide with the own ID of the image input/output system itself, it is controlled not to set up the option function of the image input/output system according to the information instructed on the PC side, thereby preventing that a user unfairly duplicates a setup program with an evil intention, and thus can set up the option function to the plural image forming apparatuses by purposely duplicating the setup program.

  • Patent number: 4825113
Abstract: A single transmission line bidirectional optical communication system comprising a directional coupler employing a polarizing beam splitter, an optical transmitting circuit for coding the data and converting the coded data into optical signals and outputting said signals, an optical receiving circuit employing a comparator having a function of automatically establishing a threshold for converting optical input signals into electrical signals and then decoding the data, a circuit for detecting the frequency differences between the sending signals and receiving signals, and a line diagnosing circuit. The polarizing beam splitter eliminates a near-end reflected beam, and the optical receiving circuit having a function of automatically establishing a threshold eliminates a remote-end reflected beam. The line diagnosing circuit diagnoses the line condition by comparing the sending frequency and receiving frequency.

  • Patent number: 4350918
Abstract: A contour vibration mode piezoelectric resonator has a vibrating portion and at least one supporting portion integrally connected to the vibrating portion by way of a bridge portion. The supporting portion comprises a resilient portion directly connected to the vibrating portion, an attenuation portion integrally connected to the resilient portion and which is insubstantially displaced by vibration during use and a fixing portion fixable on a supporting member and which is either integrally connected to or forms a part of the attenuation portion.
