  • Patent number: 10812732
Abstract: Provided are a digital camera and a control method of a digital camera which are capable of reducing power consumption in a focal-plane shutter capable of performing a normal opening operation. In the focal-plane shutter capable of performing the normal opening operation, in a case where a shutter release switch is operated, exposure using an electronic shutter is started. Thereafter, curtain running preparation for magnetizing a front-curtain electromagnet and a rear-curtain electromagnet and unlocking a second front-curtain drive member and a rear-curtain drive member locked in charge positions by a lock mechanism, which is a curtain running preparation operation of the focal-plane shutter, is performed immediately before exposure of a still image is completed.

  • Patent number: 7993052
Abstract: An agitation method for mixing a solution and a solvent to precipitate a solid substance from the solution. The method includes preparing an agitation mixer including an agitation vessel, an impeller rotated in the agitation vessel, and a feed pipe connected to the agitation vessel and having a multiple pipe structure including an outer pipe and an inner pipe arranged in the outer pipe. A shearing clearance is formed in the agitation vessel between the impeller and the feed pipe. The method further includes shearing the solution and the solvent by rotating the impeller to precipitate the solid substance while feeding the solution and the solvent into the shearing clearance from the outer pipe and the inner pipe.

  • Publication number: 20060217276
Abstract: Contact lens wetting solutions for reducing friction between the contact lens and ocular tissues, and maintaining such effect for a long time, are disclosed. The wetting solution is composed only of a particular ratio of a lubricant composed of copolymer (A) obtained by polymerizing a monomer composition comprising 2-(meth)acryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine and alkyl(meth)acrylate, a buffer, an inorganic chloride, a preservative, a chelating agent, and water. The copolymer (A) has a weight average molecular weight of 100,000 to 1,000,000, and satisfies the formula 80?N×R?240, provided that 4?N?18 and 10%?R?60%, wherein N stands for the carbon number of the alkyl group in monomer Y constituting copolymer (A), and R stands for a molar fraction of the unit derived from monomer Y with respect to the sum of the units derived from monomers X and Y.

  • Patent number: 4540323
Abstract: A cylindrical metal container with a relatively large holding capacity has triple seams having a vertically long, generally elongate rectangular cross section, the top and bottom parts of the seam having a convex substantially semi-elliptical or semi-circular profile. The outer face of the seam bulges outward adjacent its top, or its top and bottom, and the middle part between the top and bottom constitutes a pressed groove between the top and bottom and substantially parallel to the axis of the container. The body and end plate flanges are held in strong and direct contact with each other, overlapping each other in the center of the seam. A sealing compound is sealed in a void left between the edge of one flange and the curved portion of the other flange.
