  • Patent number: 6343186
Abstract: A fixed making frame for blocking the peripheral light is disposed between a taking lens aperture and an exposure frame of a film surface. The effective diameter of the taking lens aperture is variable so as to make an angular field of a photogtaphing light which extends from the taking lens aperture to an exposure area. The angular filed is smaller under a larger effective diameter than under a smaller effective diameter. A predetermined width of a periphery of the exposure area defines a non-print area, and the fixed making frame is disposed at a side adjacent to the taking lens aperture with respect to an intersection of the peripheral light which extends between an inner periphery of the non-print area and the lens aperture under a larger effective diameter of the taking lens, and a peripheral exposure light which extends the lens aperture and an outer periphery of the exposure area, under a smaller effective diameter of the taking lens aperture.

  • Patent number: 6094543
Abstract: Photo film has plural perforation sets arranged along one edge thereof in line at a regular pitch. Each of the perforation sets includes first and second perforations, which are arranged closely at a regular distance. A sprocket wheel is rotated by movement of the photo film. The sprocket wheel has a wheel body. Two tooth sets respectively include first and second teeth, are disposed to protrude from a peripheral face of the wheel body, and are respectively meshed with the first and second perforations serially. An arm is disposed on the peripheral face of the wheel body, for frictionally contacting a portion of the photo film between first and second perforation sets, to be rotated by the photo film. The first and second perforation sets are included in the plural perforation sets and adjacent to each other. Each of the tooth sets are meshed with the second perforation set after being disengaged from the first perforation set.

  • Patent number: 5918082
Abstract: A sprocket wheel is used with photo film which includes a plurality of perforation groups arranged in a longitudinal direction thereof and cyclically at a pitch predetermined for one frame. Each of the perforation groups includes first and second perforations arranged at a predetermined distance. The sprocket wheel is rotated by a predetermined amount while the photo film is wound per one frame. The sprocket wheel includes a wheel portion. Four teeth are arranged on a periphery of the wheel portion. A first one of the teeth is meshed with the first perforation. Then a second one of the teeth is meshed with the second perforation. The first and second teeth split the periphery of the wheel portion into first and second arc-shaped faces. The first arc-shaped face is determined in association with the predetermined distance. The second arc-shaped face has a radius greater than a radius of the first arc-shaped face, to push the photo film.

  • Patent number: 5875366
Abstract: Photo film (15) has pairs of perforations (21) arranged at a regular pitch (L1+L2). A photo film advancing device for advancing the photo film by the regular pitch (L1+L2) has a take-up spool (23), which winds the photo film after each exposure. A rotatable sprocket wheel (26, 68, 80, 83, 90) has a circular peripheral face (27, 71, 80c, 87, 93) with first and second teeth. The first (25a, 68a, 80a, 85b, 91a) and second teeth (25b, 68b, 80b, 85a, 91b) engage the respective perforations. A wind stop claw (36a) locks the sprocket wheel to prevent the photo film from advancing when the first and/or second perforation is engaged with the first and/or second tooth. The wind stop claw unlocks the sprocket wheel when a shutter (44) operates. While unlocked, the sprocket wheel is rotated a small amount by advancement of the photo film, to move the second tooth away from the second perforation. The peripheral face of the sprocket wheel frictionally contacts the photo film.

  • Patent number: 5815757
Abstract: In a lens-fitted photographic film unit, a connection lever makes one reciprocating movement when struck by a shutter actuating lever. The reciprocating movement of the connection lever is transmitted to a crank lever to a pair of shutter blades to cause the shutter blades to open and then close a shutter aperture. The connection lever is coupled to the crank lever through a connection pin and a cam slot. The cam slot has an actuating portion and a keeping portion. While the connection pin moves along the actuating portion, the movement of the connection lever is transmitted to the shutter blades through the crank lever to open and close the shutter aperture. While the connection pin moves along the keeping portion, the movement of the connection lever is not transmitted to the shutter blades so that the shutter blades are kept in the opened position.

  • Patent number: 5790900
Abstract: Photo film has pairs of perforations arranged at a regular pitch (L1+L2) along at least one edge thereof. Each of the pairs of perforations includes first and second perforations arranged at a small regular interval (L1) away from one another. A photo film advancing device has a rotatable sprocket wheel (41, 72, 80, 152, 252), a periphery of which has at least one pair of teeth, respectively including first and second teeth disposed away from one another nearly at the regular interval. The first tooth is engaged with the first perforation. The second tooth is engaged with the second perforation. A retaining member (44) causes the sprocket wheel to have a locked state, and disables the photo film from advancing when the second perforation is engaged with the second tooth. The retaining member causes the sprocket wheel to have an unlocked state and enables the sprocket wheel to rotate when a shutter operates.

  • Patent number: 5713046
Abstract: A lens-fitted photographic film unit has an optical viewfinder whose lens elements are held at their top side by a finder lens holding plate. The finder lens holding plate extends beyond the top side of the finder lens elements and has holes for receiving upper tips of axles for pivoting a shutter actuating lever, a frame counter dial, an arresting lever and a spring for urging the shutter actuating lever in a direction against a cocked position. The finder lens holding plates also has an arched wall which contacts a peripheral surface of a cam unit including a one-tooth gear so as to rotatably support the cam unit. The one-tooth gear is engaged with teeth formed around the periphery of the frame counter dial. The engagement between the one-tooth gear and the teeth of the frame counter dial is maintained constant by virtue of the hole and the arched wall of the finder lens holding plate.

  • Patent number: 5682569
Abstract: A shutter charge device is used with photo film and charges a shutter device. The photo film includes plural groups of perforations formed along one edge thereof. The groups are arranged at the predetermined pitch of the frames. Each of the groups includes two perforations disposed closely to one another at a predetermined distance. A driven sprocket wheel is meshed intermittently with the perforations in the photo film, and rotated by a predetermined amount while the photo film is wound as long as one of the frames. A rotatable member is rotated in integral fashion with the sprocket wheel by the predetermined amount, and charges the shutter device. A retainer lever is engaged with the rotatable member rotated by the predetermined amount, and locks the sprocket wheel to block movement of the photo film. The retainer lever is disengaged from the rotatable member upon releasing of the shutter device, and unlocks the sprocket wheel to allow it to rotate.

  • Patent number: 5628039
Abstract: A telephotographic optical system is incorporated into a mechanism unit with an exposure mechanism, and the mechanism unit is removably attached to a main body having a cassette chamber and a film roll chamber as an integral body. The telephotographic optical system is constituted by a telephotographic taking lens, and a pair of mirrors attached to an exposure chamber so as to conduct light entering through the taking lens along a Z-shaped light path toward an exposure aperture. A lens aperture changing mechanism is also incorporated in the mechanism unit. A switching member of the lens aperture changing mechanism is disposed on an upper wall portion of the film unit. An aperture-stop member having at least a lens aperture is moved by the switching member so as to place the lens aperture in the exposure light path.

  • Patent number: 4931096
Abstract: A sealer for filling a dental root canal which can seal the apex of the root and the root canal perfectly and can be removed with the gutta percha points when refilling is necessary. The sealer of the invention consists of the same basic material as the gutta percha point, so it adheres to the point initimately and firmly and can seal the apex of the root perfectly. The softening temperature of the sealer is about 40.degree.-45.degree. C., so the points and the sealer can be removed same time by heating at low temperature with a heat carrier when refilling is necessary.
