  • Publication number: 20060033962
Abstract: A print control apparatus which performs printing process with a printer using coloring agents of the plurality of color components includes: an identification image controller that controls to add the identification image data to the print image data without color space conversion being performed when the printer prints the document in which the identification image is composed. The identification image includes an embedding image and an embedded image. The embedding image and the embedded image are formed to be superposed on each other, and the embedded image is processed in advance so that visual identification of the embedding image is difficult under visible light when the embedding image and the embedded image are printed.

  • Publication number: 20060017949
Abstract: An image processor for combining a computer-readable coded image into a print image of a document including a document data main body and at least one associated data piece, has a print image generator that generates a print image of a document including an image of at least a part of the associated data, a coded image generator that generates a coded image to be combined into the print image, and a controller that determines whether or not the generated coded image can be combined into the image portion of the associated data by comparing a size of the generated coded image with a size of an image portion of the associated data, and combines the generated coded image into the image portion of the associated data on the generated print image, if it is determined that combining is possible.

  • Publication number: 20060017989
Abstract: An image processing device processes a document including a document data body and at least one set of related data, and includes a display that displays an image of the document data body and an image of the related data overlaid on the image of the document data body at overlay positions determined for each set of related data and an image data generator that generates printing image data of the document data body of the overlay position when an instruction to print the document is received, regardless of whether or not the related data is displayed.

  • Patent number: 4872806
Abstract: A centrifugal pump of the vortex-flow type includes a pump housing defining therein an arcuate pump chamber in surrounding relationship with a central sealed chamber, and a disc-like impeller rotatably and axially movably assembled within the pump housing and having opposite end faces each forming a close clearance with a corresponding internal end wall of the pump housing between the sealed and pump chambers, the impeller having on either end face of the rim portion thereof a plurality of circumferentially equally spaced vane grooves which cooperate with the pump chamber to produce a discharge pressure therein and being formed with at least one pressure balancing hole extending axially therethrough in the interior of the sealed chamber.

  • Patent number: 4854830
Abstract: A motor-driven fuel pump including a motor section provided with a driving motor, and a pump section arranged below the motor section and provided with an impeller to be driven by the driving motor. A plurality of pressure compensation hollows are formed on opposite surfaces of a sealing portion of the impeller, and a plurality of communication holes are formed through the sealing portion for communicating the pressure compensation hollows. In another aspect, a plurality of pressure compensation passages are provided to be communicated to a higher pressure side of either a pump chamber defined around outer peripheral vanes of the impeller and a fuel well for receiving a fuel leaked along a sealing portion of the impeller.

  • Patent number: 4716773
Abstract: A stress detector including an AC power source for generating an AC symmetrical wave form voltage, an exciting coil driven by the AC power source for alternatingly magnetizing at least a portion of a ferromagnetic material to be measured in a predetermined direction, a detecting coil for detecting a magnetic flux generated due to the alternating magnetization, and an adder circuit for taking out a part of a voltage applied to the exciting coil, setting an amplitude and a phase of a wave form of the taken-out part of the voltage to preset values, adding the voltage thus obtained to a voltage induced in the detecting coil. The detector gives an output signal representative of a value of stress applied to the material to be measured as a variation either in amplitude or phase depending on the preset phase.

  • Patent number: 4697460
Abstract: A torque sensor for electrically detecting torque, such as the torque of an automobile engine, wherein a strain disk is provided in the path of torque transmission and the torque is magnetically detected in terms of the magnetostriction generated in the strain disk. The torque sensor comprises a magnetic rotating disk and a magnetic sensor disposed in the vicinity of and opposed to the strain disk. The magnetic sensor comprises a detection coil and an excitation coil oriented perpendicularly to each other with the excitation coil ordinarily being disposed outside of the detection coil. Supplying alternating current to the excitation coil causes an alternating field to be produced within the strain disk and the configuration of this alternating magnetic field is varied by the anisotropy of the strain caused within the strain disk by the transmitted torque.
