  • Patent number: 11299105
Abstract: A holding device for holding a held object is downsized to reduce an occupied space in an installation space. The holding device in which a holding mechanism for holding the held object is supported on a device main body so as to slidably project and retract includes a lock mounted on the holding mechanism and configured to lock the holding mechanism at an arbitrary projected position, the lock part including a first rotary body pivotally supported on the holding mechanism and configured to rotate upon application of certain operation, a second rotary body that rotates by a force directly or indirectly applied from the first rotary body by the rotation of the first rotary body, and an engagement part that moves between an engaged position at which the engagement part is engaged to the device main body and a disengaged position by the rotation of the second rotary body.

  • Publication number: 20210339684
Abstract: A holding mechanism prevents a device at a back side of a held object from being hidden by the object. Even if a large smartphone is held, clamping with a fixed clamping part and a movable clamping part prevents the fixed part from being moved, wherein a device located back of the smartphone and at the side of the fixed clamping part cannot be hidden by the smartphone. Due to the movable clamping part being movable farther from a rotation axis than the fixed clamping part, a middle portion of the smartphone in the clamping direction substantially coincides with the rotation axis when holding a smartphone with a specified width, wherein the smartphone cannot be easily moved in a Y- and Z-direction when rotating a holding part to change orientation, and also at the back side, a device located at the side of the clamp cannot be easily hidden.

  • Patent number: 6987641
Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a recording medium container into which a recording medium unit is detachably loaded and that has an insertion inlet through which the recording medium unit is loaded. A cover is detachably attached to the insertion inlet of the recording medium container. A first detector is configured to detect a first state in which the cover is removed from the insertion inlet. A second detector is configured to detect a second state in which the recording medium unit is unloaded from the recording medium container. Stopping means is configured to stop supplying power from a power supply to a load if at least one of the first and second detectors detect at least one of the first and second states.

  • Patent number: 6977795
Abstract: An electronic apparatus, such as an on-vehicle navigation system, is provided. The apparatus comprises a hard disc container (2) and a contacting piece (31) for grounding. The hard disc container contains a hard disc unit (7) detachably loaded thereinto. A loading/unloading passage (21) through which the hard disc unit is loaded and unloaded is formed in the container. The contacting piece is disposed in the loading/unloading passage. When the hard disc unit is loaded into the container, the hard disc unit is made to come into contact to the contacting piece before an electrical connection between the hard disc and the hard disc container is realized. Thus, even if static electricity is charged on the hard disc unit, the static electricity is grounded steadily prior to the electrical connection, thereby no harm being given to data stored by a hard disc incorporated in the hard disc unit.
