  • Patent number: 9831056
Abstract: A protection device comprises a resin base, PTC component, bimetal component, arm and upper plate which are housed in a resin housing wherein the base includes a terminal integrated with the base by insert molding. A resin cover is formed by insert molding to cover the PTC component, bimetal component, arm and upper plate which are superposed in this order over the terminal within a space in the base. The space in the resin base is substantially closed by the upper plate, the base and the cover are integrally bonded to define the resin housing, the terminal and the arm are electrically connected in series in a normal state, and in an abnormal state where the bimetal component is activated, the terminal and the arm are electrically cut off, while the terminal, PTC component, bimetal component, and arm are electrically connected in series in this order.

  • Publication number: 20170078512
Abstract: In a communication system including a first terminal and a second terminal, a management server manages the first terminal and the second terminal, and a relay server relays communication between the first terminal and the second terminal, upon authenticating the first terminal, the management server notifies the first terminal of first authentication information for requesting authentication to the relay server and connection information for connecting to the relay server, and upon authenticating the second terminal, the management server notifies the second terminal of second authentication information for requesting authentication to the relay server. In response to a request from the first terminal, the relay server creates access information and transmits it to the first terminal. The relay server transmits the access information to the second terminal and relays the communication performed between the first terminal and the second terminal.

  • Patent number: 6401028
Abstract: A system guides a user (or a vehicle 100) in reference to a target position via sound changes. The system (i) virtually disposes a sound source at the target position defined in a geographical data field covering the positional arrangement of the user and the target object, and (ii) actually outputs simulated sounds to the user as if the target position emitted sounds and the sounds were propagated from the target position to the user at the current position. The sounds change as the user moves in the geographical data field. For example, sound propagation paths, through which sound waves from the sound source are propagated to the user while being influenced by other objects or obstacles, are calculated based on positional data from a position detection system 10.

  • Publication number: 20010047239
Abstract: The invention provides a travel planning system that, in planning travel, enhances serviceability and variety of search subjects. The invention comprises a planning terminal. The planning terminal includes a planning database where information concerning a plurality of travel destinations is stored relating to a plurality of different kinds of search subjects. The planning terminal searches the search subjects in the planning database based on search keys received, depending on the kinds of the search subjects corresponding to the received search keys, searches information concerning travel destinations corresponding to the search subjects related to the search keys, and makes a travel plan which an intending travel thinks is most suitable based on the searched information. When present time reaches scheduled time in a travel plan, the planning terminal transmits to a portable terminal guide information on a scheduled place to corresponding to the scheduled time.

  • Patent number: 5255195
Abstract: An arrangement for determining the position of a vehicle along a two dimensional course and for steering the vehicle to maintain a desired preset path. A sensing device is incorporated that includes markers placed at known locations and an optical sensor sequentially makes three measurements of the angle between the vehicle and the sensors, the angular course of the vehicle and the distance travelled from the last sensing so as to provide an indication of the actual vehicle position and course. The actual position is then compared with the desired position and corrections are made by the steering mechanism.
