  • Patent number: 6958675
Abstract: A vehicle remote controller that reduces the number of parts. The vehicle remote controller includes a portable device carried by a driver and a transceiver (11) arranged in the vehicle to output a request signal for intercommunicating with the portable device and to output a transponder driving radio wave. The transceiver outputs the request signal to either a first area, which is in a vehicle passenger compartment, or an area outside the vehicle, and has a common antenna (14) for outputting the transponder driving radio wave to a second area, which is in the vehicle passenger compartment.

  • Publication number: 20050013953
Abstract: A packaging material is formed by a substrate, and an inner sealing layer comprising a polyolefin layer and an aqueous dispersion-type polyester resin layer successively disposed on the substrate. The aqueous dispersion-type amorphous polyester resin layer contains an anionic surfactant or an amphoteric surfactant and is substantially free from an organic solvent having a boiling point of at most 100° C. The thus-formed packaging material is excellent in aroma-retentivity, aroma non-adsorptivity, particulate non-adhesion, low residual solvent and sealability. The packaging material is also free from environmental problem and is therefore suitable as a packaging material for particulate medical supplies and health foodstuff.

  • Publication number: 20040061660
Abstract: A three-axis antenna chip includes a cross-shaped core made of a magnetic substance. The core includes an X-axis core piece and a Y-axis core piece. The core pieces are laid on top of each other such that the core pieces extend perpendicular to each other. An X-axis coil portion is provided about the X-axis core piece, and a Y-axis coil portion is provided about the Y-axis core piece. A Z-axis coil portion is provided about a Z-axis that is perpendicular to the X-axis core piece and the Y-axis core piece. The three-axis antenna chip thus constructed is advantageous in reducing the size.

  • Patent number: 6333765
Abstract: A television receiver includes an input terminal (12). Through the input terminal is inputted an input signal having a predetermined electric field intensity. That is, a tuner (14) converts the input signal into a video intermediate frequency signal and audio intermediate frequency signal. The video intermediate frequency signal is amplified by a video intermediate frequency amplifier circuit (16). Based on that frequency, a filter (26) outputs a detection signal (Va). An RF-AGC circuit (32) outputs a reference voltage (Vref). An RF-AGC circuit (30) creates a control voltage (Vb) in response to a difference between the detection signal and the reference voltage. The tuner is controlled in gain by this control voltage. The reference voltage is varied by a micro-computer (36) depending upon the control voltage. Accordingly, the control voltage is adjusted to a desired voltage value.

  • Patent number: 5594647
Abstract: An apparatus for determining emergency conditions of a vehicle including: an acceleration sensor which detects the acceleration of a vehicle and an operation-signal generating apparatus which establishes a signal level based on the signal outputted from the acceleration sensor in a circuit established in accordance with the kind of vehicle collision and which outputs a signal for actuating a passenger safety device when the established signal level exceeds a reference value which is predetermined according to the kind of vehicle collision. This allows the passenger safety device to be actuated at a suitable time according to vehicle collision.

  • Patent number: 5364449
Abstract: A process for refining a crude material for copper or copper alloy which contains as impurity elements at least one species of Pb, Ni, Sb, S, Bi, and As in combination with at least one species of Sn, Fe, and Zn, which comprises the sequential steps of (1) melting a crude material for copper or copper alloy, (2a) increasing the oxygen concentration in the melt, thereby oxidizing Sn, Fe, and Zn into slag, (this step is carried out if the crude material contains as impurity elements at least one species of Sn, Fe, and Zn) (2b) adding to the melt at least one species selected from the group consisting of Fe, Fe oxide, Mn, and Mn oxide, thereby causing Pb, Ni, Sb, S, Bi, and As in the melt to slag in the form of compound oxide of Fe and/or Mn, (3) removing the thus formed slag from the melt, and (4) subjecting the melt to reduction.

Abstract: A television receiver includes a volume control circuit (4) for controlling levels of sound signals corresponding to a left channel, a right channel, a center channel and a surround channel and speakers (6 to 10) corresponding to these channels. The television receiver further comprises a test tone circuit (11; 18), a microcomputer (14) and a character display circuit (16). The test tone circuit (11; 18) supplies a test tone of a prescribed frequency sequentially to the speakers (6 to 10) through the volume control circuit (4). The microcomputer (14) provides a command to the character display circuit (16) so that a CRT 17) displays which speaker is currently supplied with the test tone as well as volume levels of the respective speakers.
