  • Publication number: 20070241766
Abstract: A semiconductor integrated circuit includes a wiring capable of connecting a plurality of chips on a wafer and has a configuration which is capable of cutting the wiring electrically and which allows all the chips to be tested at one time. Specifically, an exclusive test circuit region capable of being shared for testing the plurality of chips is formed on the wafer, and a test circuit is removed from each chip. Terminals of the chips and a terminal of the test circuit are connected through a wiring on the wafer or a device outside the wafer to enable a general test to be performed in burn-in.

  • Patent number: 7243020
Abstract: A knock detection apparatus which is capable of changing a knock control starting time period appropriately so as to prevent erroneous knock determination, to thereby expand a knock control range. A peak value acquisition unit acquires a peak value of a vibration of an internal combustion engine during each rotation cycle of a crankshaft of the engine. A background calculator calculates a background by averaging peak values acquired by the peak value acquisition unit. A knock determination unit performs knock determination based on whether a peak value acquired by the peak value acquisition unit is higher than a predetermined level above the background, and feedback controls knock in the engine according to a result of the knock determination. A temperature acquisition unit acquires a temperature of the engine during a start of the engine.

  • Publication number: 20070124714
Abstract: According to the present invention, a method for designing a semiconductor integrated circuit layout comprises the steps of: arranging basic logic cells which are circuit patterns corresponding to logic components of a semiconductor integrated circuit; arranging wiring between the basic logic cells; searching for a blank area in which none of the basic logic cells is arranged; extracting a rectangular region from the blank area; if the rectangular region is larger than a specified size, arranging fill cells in the rectangular region according to a predetermined rule and grouping the fill cells into pseudo-hierarchical cells according to a predetermined rule to form a hierarchy; arranging fill cells in the remaining blank areas; and performing optical proximity effect correction on the semiconductor integrated circuit pattern.

  • Publication number: 20050281142
Abstract: An optical pickup device comprises a semiconductor laser that causes outgoing of laser beam used for reproduction and recording of information on an optical disk, and an objective lens that conducts the laser beam outgoing from the semiconductor laser to the optical disk. The objective lens is driven by a yoke, a focusing coil, a tracking coil, etc. These elements are accommodated in a pickup housing. First and second bearing portions supporting the pickup housing to make the same movable are attached to the pickup housing and arranged on both sides with the objective lens therebetween. The yoke is thermally connected to the first bearing portion positioned on an opposite side of the yoke to the semiconductor laser.

  • Publication number: 20050086677
Abstract: An optical pickup apparatus comprises a laser beam source to generate laser beam, and a laser driving circuit to drive the laser beam source. The laser driving circuit is connected to a flexible substrate and arranged in a groove or hole provided in the vicinity of that portion of an optical pickup housing, to which the laser beam source is fixed. The laser driving circuit is connected through a heat conduction member to an upper cover among upper and lower covers, the upper cover being close to the laser driving circuit. Thereby, heat generated from the laser driving circuit is conducted through the heat conduction member to the upper cover to be transferred outside the optical pickup apparatus while being scattered in an inplane direction of the upper cover.

  • Patent number: 6711119
Abstract: A disk is moved between disk cartridges without being in touch with the disk. Therefore, movement of the disk between the disk cartridges is carried out via a disk holder. Further, when the disk is moved between the disk cartridges, disk information of the cartridge is also moved simultaneously. Accordingly, the disk information held by the disk cartridge is provided at a disk holder portion and the disk information can be read by other disk device. Further, the disk holder is provided with a region representing information of the disk. When it is made to be a label region, in moving the disk between the disk cartridges, also the disk information held by the disk holder can simultaneously be moved. Further, even when the disk cartridge incorporates the disk, the content of the disk can easily be recognized via the disk holder. Further, a user can arbitrarily write or erase content of the disk to or from the label region, the disk is recognized easily and easiness of use is considerably promoted.
