    Abstract: Provided is a stopper for a slide fastener and a method for manufacturing a stopper for a slide fastener, which can reduce mutual adhesion and defective rates during the painting process. The present invention relates to a coated metal stopper (10) for a slide fastener. The stopper (10) comprises a head (11) and a pair of legs (12) extending from the head (11) in a bifurcated manner. Each of the legs (12) has a recess (20) in the center on its inner surface (12b). The ratio of the depth (D) of the recess (20) to the thickness (E) of each leg (12) of the stopper (10) is 3.8% or more and 18.9% or less. Further, the ratio of the length (L2) of the recess (20) in a longitudinal direction of the stopper (10) to the length (L1) of the stopper (10) in the longitudinal direction can be 13.5% or more and 23.5% or less.

The inner side of a coupling concave portion is formed in a substantially bowl shape and a concave portion is formed throughout the boundary between the coupling concave portion and a body and a front side and a rear side of the body. Further, when the metal double-sided tooth is attached to a fastener tape, it is possible to prevent a flow protruding portion generated by caulking a pair of legs from protruding outward from the coupling concave portion or the front side and the rear side of the body until sliding friction is generated in a slider.

    Abstract: A button attaching fastener consisting of a button cap and an attachment plug. The button cap has centrally in its rear surface a socket, and the attachment plug has on one end a flange fitted in the socket with a clench portion provided along an outer periphery of the socket clenched over the flange through its substantially entire surface. The clench portion has on its outer surface a plurality of rotation-preventing projections extending radially outwardly from the base of the flange. The rotation-preventing projections serve to prevent the fastener from rotating on a piece of fabric, as of clothing, and also to increase the pulling strength of the attachment plug.
