Abstract: An engine includes: a cylinder block with a piston being able to reciprocate therein; a carburetor configured to supply an air-fuel mixture into the cylinder block; a crankcase formed with a crank chamber; a reed valve made of a magnetic material and provided in an air-fuel mixture passage through which the air-fuel mixture passes; an electromagnet including an iron core having at least two magnetic pole pieces facing the reed valve, and a coil wound around a portion of the iron core; and a control unit configured to control the electromagnet.

Abstract: According to an aspect of the invention, a bench cutter like a miter saw including: a drive portion driving a cutting blade; a base portion supporting a workpiece; a cutting portion arranged on the base portion, pivotally supporting the cutting blade above the base portion, and configured to make the cutting blade come close to and separate from the base portion; and a supporting portion connected to the base portion and movably supporting the cutting portion, wherein the cutting portion including: a transmission portion for transmitting power of the drive portion to the cutting blade; and a gear case covering the transmission mechanism and having a lower face portion opposed to an upper face of the base portion, wherein the transmission portion including: a spindle concentrically supporting the cutting blade; and a cutting blade fixing portion having a flange for fixing the cutting blade to the spindle.

Abstract: The present invention provides a grip provided around a hollow handle pipe of a portable working tool. The grip includes: a switch unit configured to control operation of the portable working tool; a grip portion for enabling an operator to hold the portable working tool, the grip portion extending in an extending direction and having one end and another end opposite to the one end; a pipe insertion portion formed at the one end of the grip portion and formed with a pipe insertion hole from which the handle pipe is inserted; and a switch mounting portion formed at the another end of the grip portion and formed with a switch mounting hole in which the switch unit is mounted, the grip portion, the pipe insertion portion and the switch mounting portion being integrally formed of an elastic material.
