Patent number: 7398278Abstract: A method of storing addresses in a database comprising generating original prefixes representing the addresses to be stored in the database. The prefix lengths are determined dynamically. Reduced prefixes are generated by collapsing or expanding the original prefixes such that a number of reduced prefixes is less than a number of original prefixes. The reduced prefixes are stored in the database.Type: GrantFiled: May 20, 2005Date of Patent: July 8, 2008Assignees: NEC Electronics Corporation, NEC Laboratories America, Inc.Inventors: Srihari Cadambi, Srimat Chakradhar, Hirohiko Shibata

Publication number: 20060198379Abstract: A network router comprising at least one index table operable to store encoded values of a function associated with an input source address in at least two locations. The encoded values are obtained by hashing the input source address such that all the encoded values must be used to recover the function. At least one filtering table is provided that is operable to store prefixes of at least two different lengths, the prefixes corresponding to network addresses. The filtering table is indexed by entries in said index table. At least one result table is provided. The result table is operable to be indexed by entries in said index table. The result table stores destination addresses. At least one record in the filtering table has a prefix length field that is operable to store a prefix length of a prefix stored in said at least one record.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 20, 2005Publication date: September 7, 2006Applicants: NEC LABORATORIES AMERICA, INC., NEC ELECTRONICS CORPORATIONInventors: Srihari Cadambi, Srimat Chakradhar, Hirohiko Shibata

Patent number: 6744889Abstract: The invention provides a subscriber circuit for a public telephone set which eliminates the necessity to make a voice signal to be introduced to a channel filter a small signal. A voltage holding circuit is controlled with a polarity reversal indication signal which is supplied also to a loop current supply circuit so that a voltage detected by a line voltage detection circuit is held by the voltage holding circuit. A reversal circuit is controlled with the polarity reversal indication signal so that the polarity of the voltage held by the voltage holding circuit is reversed. The voltage of the reversed polarity is buffered by a low-pass filter having a characteristic same as that of a low-pass filter which buffers polarity reversal in the loop current supply circuit, and is then subtracted from the output of the line voltage detection circuit by a subtraction circuit.Type: GrantFiled: May 26, 1999Date of Patent: June 1, 2004Assignee: NEC CorporationInventor: Hirohiko Shibata

Publication number: 20020079392Abstract: Object of the invention is to finely granulate the granular substances with pollutants, such as the contaminated soils and incinerated ashes, adhered and to separate the pollutants from the granular substances efficiently and further to enable the unnoxious granular substances, from which pollutants as above have been separated, to be recycled.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 12, 2001Publication date: June 27, 2002Applicant: Shinroku Seiki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Takao Tango, Yo Ito, Hirohiko Shibata, Kenji Kawaguchi, Yutaka Shida

Patent number: 6402064Abstract: Granular substances with pollutants adhered, such as contaminated soils and incinerated ashes, are finely granulated to separate the pollutants from the granular substances efficiently and to enable the granular substances, from which pollutants have been separated, to be recycled. After fine granulation of the granular substances by a coarse disintegrating treatment through a first fine granulation machine, the granular substances, which have been finely granulated by the first fine granulation machine, are subjected to, by a second fine granulation machine, mutual polishing among the granular substances by mutual rubbing forces of the substances themselves and thus the pollutants, such as heavy metals and dioxin class substances adhering strongly to the surfaces of the granular substances, are separated, and also the granular substances not containing the pollutants are classified from the granular substances which have already been finely granulated by a vibrational screen and a classification device.Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 1999Date of Patent: June 11, 2002Assignees: Shinroku Seiki Kabushiki Kaisha, Youyu Shigen Kabushiki Kaisha, Kabushiki Kaisha KamagaigumiInventors: Takao Tango, Yo Ito, Hirohiko Shibata, Kenji Kawaguchi, Yutaka Shida

Patent number: 5473278Abstract: A RC filter circuit is disclosed which includes a first time constant circuit composed of a first resistor and a first capacitor, a switch circuit transferring, when conductive, an input signal to the first time constant circuit, and a pulse generator generating and supplying a pulse signal to the switch circuit to control conductive and non-conductive states of the switch circuit. The pulse generator includes a second time constant circuit composed of a second resistor and a second capacitor and responding a clock signal to generate the pulse signal which has a cycle period dependent on the clock signal and a pulse width dependent on a time constant of the second time constant circuit.Type: GrantFiled: February 15, 1994Date of Patent: December 5, 1995Assignee: NEC CorporationInventor: Hirohiko Shibata

Patent number: 5416438Abstract: An active filter circuit has been proposed which is fabricated on a chip and which comprises a two-input operational amplifier with one input for feedback, and a first capacitance element connected between the other input of the operational amplifier and the ground potential. It further comprises a main resistor and the supplemental resistors interconnected in series or parallel, and switches corresponding to the supplemental resistors and turned on or off by control signals, thereby the summed resistance of these supplemental resistors is adjustable to set the time constant created in combination with the capacitance of the first capacitor to a specified value. Input signals are routed to the other input of the operational amplifier via the resistor circuit consisting of the main and supplemental resistors and the switches. According to the present invention, the time constant is detected with a probe pulse by measuring discharge time of the second capacitor.Type: GrantFiled: March 18, 1993Date of Patent: May 16, 1995Assignee: NEC CorporationInventor: Hirohiko Shibata
