  • Patent number: 6695450
Abstract: There is provided an ophthalmic characteristic measuring apparatus in which when a wavefront measurement is carried out, an adjustment of an exposure amount, such as an exposure time or a light amount of a light source, is carried out. A first light source section emits light flux with a first wavelength. A first illumination optical system illuminates a minute area on a retina of a subject eye with the first flux from the first light source. A first light receiving optical system guides a part of light flux reflected and returned from the retina of the subject eye to a first light receiving section through a first conversion member for converting the reflected light flux into at least 17 beams. A second light source section emits light flux with a second wavelength. A second illumination optical system illuminates a predetermined area on the retina of the subject eye with the second light flux from the second light source section.

  • Patent number: 6234632
Abstract: A cornea shape measuring instrument is provided which displays a superimposed image obtained by superimposing an anterior ocular segment image on a cornea refractive power distribution image and with which an operator can grasp with reality the positional relationship between the cornea refractive power distribution and the eye to be examined. Anterior ocular segment image data including ring pattern image data obtained by an optical measurement unit 100 is stored in an image memory 9. An control circuit 10 calculates the cornea refractive power distribution based on the ring pattern image data. The cornea refractive power distribution data representing the cornea refractive power distribution is stored in the refractive power distribution data memory 11.

  • Patent number: 5190119
Abstract: A hydraulic power steering device responsive to the speed of a vehicle and comprising a housing, an output shaft disposed in the housing, an input shaft disposed in the housing and coaxial with the output shaft, a torsion bar provided between the output shaft and the input shaft, a control valve provided around the input shaft for controlling the amount of pressure oil to be supplied from a hydraulic pump to a power cylinder in accordance with the torsion of the torsion bar, and plungers each slidably fitted in a hole formed in the output shaft, each of the plungers being adapted to be pressed at its forward end against the input shaft by oil pressure in accordance with the vehicle speed to obtain a reaction. At least one of the portion of the plunger slidable in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the output shaft defining the hole and the portion of the plunger to be pressed into contact with the input shaft is made of a synthetic resin.
