    Abstract: The invention provides a hybrid vehicle drive apparatus in which a stator of a motor used under a high temperature environment can be simply and securely fixed to a motor housing. An AC motor is connected to a crank shaft between an internal combustion engine and a transmission, the AC motor is provided with a motor housing connected to each of the internal combustion engine and transmission, a stator constituted by a plurality of stator pieces arranged to form a ring shape, each of the stator pieces constituted by stator core teeth, a stator hold ring opening portion corresponds to an outer peripheral shape of the stator and is press-fitted to the opening portion, and the stator hold ring is fixed to the motor housing. A coefficient of thermal expansion of the stator substantially coincides with a coefficient of thermal expansion of the stator hold ring.
