  • Patent number: 6144277
Abstract: An electric noise absorber comprising at least two ferrite pieces having abutting planes, at least two case members containing the ferrite pieces respectively and being closed by means of engagement members, and a spring member provided in at least one of the case members for pressing the ferrite pieces against each other when the case members are closed. Since the case members for keeping the ferrite pieces in appropriate positions and the spring member for pushing up the ferrite pieces for close contact are separately molded, the case members are bestowed with strength and the spring member with elasticity, both suitable for their own purposes. The case members requires no apertures for biasing members and therefore outside magnetic substance is prevented from contacting with the ferrite pieces contained in the case members.

  • Patent number: 5821612
Abstract: An electronic component provided with a heat radiative ceramic plate that is protected from cracks. Such a heat radiative electronic component is composed of an electronic device, such as a semiconductor device with an integrated circuit built therein, having a heat radiative plate bonded on its upper surface. The heat radiative plate is formed by a ceramic plate coated with a resin layer. The ceramic plate is a 1 mm to 2 mm thick quadrangular plate prepared by sintering cordierite powder, which has a high emissivity of far-infrared rays. The resin layer entirely or partly covers the surface of the ceramic plate, thereby preventing the plate from breaking and/or chipping and scattering ceramic powder to the surrounding area.

  • Patent number: 5273817
Abstract: The invention provides plastic material for wrapping or carrying food such as meat and vegetables without causing propagation of bacteria and germs. The plastic material includes: a synthetic resin; and carbon fibers which are grown on fine powder of a refractory metal or a derivative thereof by thermolysis of hydrocarbons or vapor growth and plated with a metal laminate. A synthetic resin having sufficient flexibility is used as a base thereof when the plastic material is applied to a wrapping film, whereas a solid and tough synthetic resin is used when the plastic material is applied to a food-carrying member like a container or a tray. The metal laminate of the material gives excellent germicidal power to the material, and the ordered graphite structure of the carbon fibers gives sufficient strength to the material.

  • Patent number: 5243127
Abstract: The noise absorber for an electrical wire of electronic equipment having a pair of mating members, at least a portion of which is molded of magnetic resin. The wire of electronic equipment, when positioned between the pair of mating members, is completely surrounded by the members molded of magnetic resin, so that magnetic flux is not excluded. Therefore, any noise generated within the wire is absorbed by the noise absorber.

  • Patent number: 5243130
Abstract: A housing provided with centrally located electricallyconductive wires and apertures which extend to the conductive wires located inside the walls of the housing. When electrically conductive members are inserted into the apertures and touch the electrically conductive wires, electrical connection can be obtained. Thus, the conductive wires inside the wall of the housing easily allow connection between electronic components or between the electronic components and a power source. The housing is also advantageous in miniaturizing electronic equipment.

  • Patent number: 5187225
Abstract: The sealant compound of this invention comprises polyurethane resin or its precursor mixed with vapor grown carbon fiber. In the compound, whisker-shaped carbon fibers with high tensile strength intertwine and form lattices. In addition, carbon fibers are anchored in the polyurethane resin. Consequently, the compound of this invention has more tensile strength than the conventional compound containing black carbon. Thus the seal consisting of the compound of this invention has high adhesion and sealing effects.

  • Patent number: 5120351
Abstract: This invention is a ferrite molding made by a manufacturing method of molding and sintering ferrite particles, which are made by pre-sintering of magnetic materials including iron oxide, together with metallic particles mixed therein by a hydrostatic pressing at extra-high pressure, whereby metal fills in between the ferrite particles. The ferrite molding has improved ductility so as to resist chipping and breaking and has extremely low hydroscopicity so as to maintain its characteristics.

  • Patent number: 5097885
Abstract: An aperture covering, such as a window shade, comprises a shade body (10), a shielding member (24) provided on a shade-body periphery facing a window frame (2), and a shade-body winding mechanism (6). The shielding member (24) is conductive and contacts the window frame (2) to close the space between the shade body (10) and the window frame (2). When the winding mechanism (6) winds the shade body (10) down to cover the window frame (2) with the shade body (10), the window shade blocks electromagnetic energy inside and outside a building, while regulating light entering the building through a window.

  • Patent number: 5090122
Abstract: This invention provides a method for manufacturing a three-dimensional circuit substrate. In the method, a conducting portion comprising a circuit pattern is formed on the surface of a film. The film is placed over a resin board in a mold in which the conducting portion of the film is opposed to the resin board. Subsequently, blow molding or vacuum forming is applied to the mold. The film and the resin board are thus closely overlapped, heat-bonded, and formed into the three-dimensional circuit substrate having a desired configuration. Through such minimum process steps, the three-dimensional circuit substrate with the complicated configuration can be manufactured easily with reduced cost.

  • Patent number: 5026602
Abstract: Anti-static conductive mechanical components of synthetic resin with a conductive membrane formed on the surface of the synthetic resin through evaporation. When static electricity is generated during the operation of the mechanical components, the conductive membrane, which can be used to ground the synthetic resin, quickly eliminates the static electricity. The equipment constructed from the mechanical components can thus prevent malfunctions caused by static electricity.

  • Patent number: 5008485
Abstract: The conductive seal of the present invention comprises the conductive layer and the sealing member. The conductive layer is composed only for providing conductivity, and the sealing member is composed only for providing a sealing effect. The conductive layer is such a thin coat that the conductive seal as a whole has a sufficient sealing effect, when it is applied onto the housing. Owing to such a sufficient sealing effect, the conductive layer can be securely adhered to the housing. Consequently, the conductive seal protects the electronic equipment from electromagnetic waves and prevents electromagnetic waves generated by the electronic equipment from leaking outside. The conductive layer is so thin that manufacturing cost can be reduced even when silver powder or copper powder is used for the layer.

  • Patent number: 4983932
Abstract: An electric noise absorber comprises an axially divided magnetic body having abutment surfaces, a first joint on which the divided magnetic body can swing, and a second joint having a resilient member. The end of a second joint is attached to one part of the divided magnetic body, and the other end of the second joint can be attached to or detached from the other part of the divided magnetic body. Since the second joint can be unlocked, the electric noise absorber can be easily attached around a desired position on the electric wire without disconnecting the electric wire. When the other end of the second joint is pulled and attached to the magnetic body using the contraction force of the resilient member, the abutment surfaces of the divided magnetic body are held closely adjacent to the electric wire, making a magnetic circuit about the electric wire. The electric noise absorber can thus absorb electric noise with a minimum required structure.
